They need to improve on little nuisances. Nothing major, just a handful of big plays allowed and getting better every game. Yall must be part time fans and don't pay attention to the details of the entire game. There's a ton of improvement over last season and improvement during the game as it goes on and improvement every game. They don't need to be perfect or stop everything
Defense isn't soft cuz, they make a few big mistakes but have very great adjustments while getting better every game. I have a feeling they will look like the 2003 to 2007 LSU team. It's not always pretty but do what is needed when it's needed.
BK needs his DB'S to crowd the line, and jam-up the Opponents receivers in the first 5 yards to give their EDGE RUSHERS a chance to disrupt the timing of the QUARTERBACK and the receiver's route. IT WILL KEEP THE DB'S from back peddling 10 yards down the field to pick them apart for marching down the field, and the running backs from getting 10yard lanes of GREEN.
Rotate a TE/RECEIVERS in LIMITED pass cover defense, using them like DEON SANDERS playing on both side of the ball. Fast enough, BIG ENOUGH to cover and tackle to learn routes/juking moves from other OFFENSES RECEIVERS to make them advanced for next year, while giving DB's a rest. If LSU QUARTERBACK threw an interception, the receivers needs to make a tackle anyway. It'll teach them to play for the 50/50 balls.
@@luckyeastside9191that’s not totally true. If LSU is going to stick with the Star defensive scheme then he is no doubt the best option. He’s great around the LOS. The problem is he is ass in coverage. That seems to be a problem with most of our secondary though
@@Its_andrewdude exactly, yu can’t hide burns at the star position because when we play ole miss or Alabama they will put their best receiver in the slot and kill him just like south Alabama did .. and he not a better safety than Gilbert, Ryan or spears .. so his time at lsu is done
@luckyeastside9191 ~ the star position doesn't cover the slot!! The star covers the tight end, or Y!! You're not understanding the scheme!! Burns played strictly safety against South Alabama because of their offensive scheme!! They used alot of 3 linebacker sets and moved Burns to safety!!
The last few weeks of offense is different because NUSS was stretching the field giving the Room for the Run Game! Chris Hilton will work with Lacy to devaste the opponent's secondary, requiring opponents linebackers to play out of place. Emptying the box at the line making running lanes. NUSS MIGHT EVEN GET 500 TOTAL YARDS TYPE DAY.
I don't know what to make of his performance against S Alabama..... at first I thought the offense lost focus and was not focusing on putting them away.. I kinda think now Nuss and the offense went a little rogue and was having a game within the game ( which was never in doubt).. and the S al dbs won a few snaps.
I think as a LB unit it was the best performance this season. Perkins isn't a true LB, similar to Micah Parsons for Dallas. Not a slight but he's hesitant when playing LB and not rushing the QB. Still not a fan of Penn, Burns, and Ryan. Curious to see how they play against Ole Miss
Nuss is very good. He is in his first full season. He will get better. Will he be as good as Jayden or Joe? I hope so however he might just be great enough to win it all assuming the D shows dramatic improvement.
They also offered Peyton Houston out of Evangel and a couple of out-of-state kids. Zeigler up in Benton is also really good. Bottom line is that LSU's gonna get a great QB in 2027 - just a question of whether that's all they get at the position (since it looks like they may not take a high school QB in the class between Underwood and these kids).
Yal are passively tlkin dwn on Perkins! Weeks is good& can be great but stop tlkin dwn on one player to bring another up! & i bet yal will start cryin whn we play bama & west cnt contain Milrose lol. Gone be cryin for Perk thn #Geauxtigers #WemissuPerk
I did notice that at various points of the game the qb ran to the sideline looking for a receiver: I call that a coverage sack or stop (even though the qb threw the ball out of bounds)….as a group, they have improved…even though they had a few lapse in coverage…
@@hitstickproductions7050Woah there, that's not true. LSU has not played Bama or A&M yet. I don't think this defense meets the freeze point for making necessary stops in big games to pull out wins. Give them another year or 2.
Nuss would be welcomed with wide open arms by every team in the SEC outside the top 4 of Bama, UGA, TX & TN, & they would take him anyway if they could to hurt LSU. Yes, prior to 18/19 Burrow go look at the all time LSU QB stat leaders. Nuss is torching most of them right now! Matt & T-Bob are spot on!
Bruh, it’s not happening for a few reasons, #1, Bryce already said it’s not about NIL money it’s about development and reaching the next level. #2, Joe Sloan, the relationship between the two is so solid and the trust Bryce has in Sloan to develop him is unbreakable. #3, Jayden Daniels, Jayden Daniels Jayden Daniels, if JD continues his fire start in the NFL, that’s just proof of Sloan knowing what he’s doing and solidify the trust Bryce has in him.
Watching that Alabama and Georgia game last night, I have to say, most of the those throws down field by both QB’s were just bad. Those throws were like almost most up for grabs. If it were not for bad DBs position in playing the ball, most of those throws should have been broken up. Garrett is a much better natural throw of the football. I don’t get the love for Georgia QB, Carson Beck, there were a lot of jump-ball-ish throws. Some NFL team will fall in love with him. Nuss arm talent far more greater than Becks and Milroe.
bryce hasn’t scheduled any visits since committing to LSU… also, why would he decommit from the school that has produced two heisman winning quarterbacks in the past 5 years?
If you guys knew anything more about this recruitment, you wouldn’t have even made this a topic. 1. Sherrone Moore doesn’t even have a contract with Michigan. 2. Michigan’s quarterback development is terrible. 3. Bryce going there would ultimately be at his own detriment. 4. Bryce had always wanted to play in the SEC. 5. Bryce hasn’t visited or mentioned any other school except LSU since he committed. 6. I’m pretty sure Dave said he pay $2-3 million for a PORTAL quarterback. Why would you even put this BS out there?
I think they should keep off the field one more week. Keep him off the film and install him during the buy week. Don't give Lane anything to scheme against and drop a surprise muthafuckea on them. It's his money year. Let him have a coming out party on a big stage and announce his presence. Geaux Tigers.
