I will be joining the KAL! I am setting a reminder for the Zoom Cast-on Party. Knit Circus is sold out, so I am sourcing other gradients now, but I am afraid it will not arrive on time. I will have to check my stash. Chiao Goo is definitely the way to go. As a matter of fact, you patiently talked to me through choosing the right needles for me when I was a beginning knitter. We sat a table in the LYS, and I was able to try a variety of brands and types. I landed on Chiao Goo and have never looked back. Love them! Thank you so much!
So lovely to reconnect with you 🩷 Yes, the gradients from KnitCircus are sold out, but you may consider to “ dye to order”, because this yarn is definitely worth of waiting for. So, my suggestion is to join the KAL with something from your stash, just make sure it is over 400 yards and wait for THE yarn.
This project is stunning. I did dragon scales on baby booties. One bootie was larger than the other even though I followed the same stitch count!😂 I'll try to join on zoom on 16th. In case I'm unable to do so, would I have link to watch the cast on? Never done beading, so definitely need to see it.
Alexandra, will we knitting a gauge swatch for this pattern? I can’t wait to start on Thursday, and will be winding my yarn and placing the beads tomorrow to get ready for Thursday. Thank you.
I ordered my fade - orchid - so excited!11 Question - can I make it without the beads? Dragon Lore had no beads but you mentioned this pattern 2 has beads but also edited to read easier. Or did I misunderstand?
Oh, absolutely! You can make it without beads, just skip PB stem ( place bead) in the pattern description and continue with the instructions! I am so glad that you joining the Knit-A-Long! 💜
Hi there! So just to clarify, the yellow set only makes 12” and 14” circulars and not 9” correct? I have the red and blue and I really love the variation of sizes you can make. Thank you for the thorough review 😊!
Love your video. I just purchased your pattern or Ravelry and ordered my yarn. Excited about joining the KAL in March. your design is so unique. Can't wait to start knitting.
Morning, I really wanted to do this pattern but I’ve failed many, many times. i.e can’t get passed second row. Tried to get help on here & with friends. Have you a video we could follow? Thanks very much.
@@alexandradavidoffstudio2332 thanks for replying, your video is explained very well, and your choice of music is perfect. I’ll be looking forward to the video.
This is the most beautiful knitting design. I’m making mine out of a beautiful grass green alpaca with beads. I’ll be taking the project me to my seaside cottage vacation. I’ll post to Ravelry when finished. Thank you for such a lovely design.
