@@fan1701 I had this issue pop up on me after taking my lifan engine on a huge 300 mile trip with a few hours of wide open throttle, I didn't mess with the oil level before or after, but it began leaking shortly after that trip. Just a small little drip at a time. Weird.
It causes a build up of pressure inside the crankcase that will cause the oil to be forced out through anywhere it can such as the fill tube and can push out the oil seals.
Watched em all, still puzzled by odd names Fan & Link. Also I wish times like this could last forever. I miss riding but I often rode alone on my 3 wheeler. My brothers were always too cool to be with me. 😢
Possible the breather is cam driven???? I very much doubt it, or even solenoid activated? Or perhaps they just gone messed up? (Me thinks the latter) Good thing you found it early! Nice spot indeed.
@@fan1701 make sure you slap a filter on it so it doesn’t happen again. I run a 3/16 fuel line with a cars inline fuel filter so it has good breathing and filtering
hey i just got this bike for my son i have so many questions is there any way i can contact you and ask you a few questions ? i want to make sure i'm doing it correct . also the cap that is rite there for the oil i need to replace it but idk how to search it i keep getting the oil top and the gas top
If you just bought this bike then you should do a few things before riding it much. Change the oil. These bikes come with a shipping oil not meant for running the engine with. Tighten all bolts and nuts. I would also suggest using blue loctite on all the bolts and nuts. Oil the chain regularly. The chains stretch a lot when they are new and oiling them will help them last longer. Use only non-ethanol fuel. Regular ethanol fuel will attract water into your fuel tank and eventually give you carbureuter problems. The plastic on these bikes seems to fade alot with sun exposure try to keep it out of the sun and weather to keep it looking good and the electrical connectors dry. I'm not sure what oil thingy your talking about. If you do these things your bike should run good and be pretty reliable.

My son's DB24 does this after he lays it down. If it is running when it's laying down after a wipeout oil will come out that hose and fill up the carb, It dose not build up pressure like that. I unhooked it and basically it make no difference in how it runs so I think it is primarily some kind of eco thing for pollution or something. My question is where can I get the little filter that goes on the line? I want to hook it back up and can't find it. Anyone know if it is just a fuel filter repurposed? Or is it a special one specifically for the crank vent?
I have a 21hp B&S blowing oil from the dipstick and burning out the exhaust. I can suck air easily but not blow into it. Sucking air would be the correct direction into the carb. So now I'm stumped again.
We were sweatin it the whole time. I hope he did get carried off in that car but I'll be back over there picking up another car today so I'll be watching carefully just in case that big snake is still hiding in another car.
My brother drove it a short time before wrecking it. It has been sitting on the property for probably close to fourty years. I've been hauling junk off for weeks and now we have switched to hauling off old cars and trucks. Thanks for watching.
