I've been fortunate enough to see Leslie Odom Jr perform this twice while touring for his music. He does it a lil different, but it's still so good. I'm so glad Leslie got to originate Burr.
The way his voice starts to inflect at the end tells you how infuriated he's becoming over Hamilton's rise and his desire to be involved in important decisions. Compare it to Goerge's ramblings lol. I love the way they wrote this.
honestly karen is my favorite angelica. i love the kinda uptight upper class vibe she gives like when she emphasizes “schuyler” when introducing herself. i also love how jittery she seems during the rap and my favorite part is the belting at the end. her voice gets so deep and sounds so regretful and it just gives me chills every time.
