The Castellows put on a great live show - original songs from their EP A Little Goes A Long Way, unreleased gems & cover songs from Garth Brooks, Springsteen, Emmylou Harris & The Beatles.
Having just played the Grand Ole Opry, many are discovering this talented band of sisters from southern Georgia. This channel shares live performances from the US & Canada (so far). I'm just a big fan & the more your hear, you will be too,

PS - I'm not with the band as some asked. This was my home movie channel with several concerts & original songs too. I love new bands like Wet Leg, Pacifica & classic rock. I've appreciated country music for a long time (even saw Stompin' Tom at 'The Horseshoe' when I was 8!). The Castellows brought me back to the genre with great new music & stories & traditional values. I did offer the band the RU-vid revenue here but they declined, so I'll find a fitting charity instead :)
They opened for Glass Tiger and blew them out of the water! They sounded so good and pure to who they were 40 years ago! Glass Tiger was sloppy with barely the same group and sounding haggard. Been a fan of both since day 1 but the Spoons killed it!!
@@EckertMichael-o4e Ellie's voice in Sober Sundays is INCREDIBLE, like in this first live performance - so high and clear .. check out 50 second into this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hqYptz6inMo.html
It feels right. I asked the gals in Malone at the merch table if they would like it because there are unreleased songs where they get nil. They were adamant I should keep it. Donating feels better. Maybe another cause next year.. Farm Aid 🐴 ⛑️?
@@Larreur-Brittany lighting at Tulips was poor for sure. So even with a Pixel Pro video is so so. I saw Strumbellas there 2 days after and they had their own lighting and it was much better video (same Pixel). Strumbellas had their own sound guy and board too. Being up front is a challenge with the mix cause of direct guitar amp and drum sound they don't hear in their IEMs but we hear in the front row. To fix that I've done moises.ai track separation to then remix the levels on some songs from this show and it helps - check out the God's Time remix for example. Anyhow, the reality of live shows, no touring regular sound person, no band lighting (touring light in a van and small trailer) means you see what you see, you hear what you hear. First world problems tho.. these shows were great to be at! Watching stars being born! The huge plus is the meet and greet, signing stuff, chatting, selfies at the merch table after - you won't ever get that in the big venues with perfect light and sound :)
@@thomasschierer9326 this was very odd sound with no guitars in the mix on the right side, but you hear the drums directly which can drown out vocals. The sound check was shortly before the show in the rain and maybe they were rushed (my theory anyway). I did track separation to remix a few club shows where the drums are kinda loud 🔊🔊🔊 . I expect the Little Big Town shows will have good consistent mixes 😊.
@@ChristyReeseNoJohnyNonsense It sure is! They don't play it in the shorter sets when they are not headlining :( So I hope they do some headlining shows next year so we can hear it again :)
