I'm Malachi Watson, an actor, singer, and dancer, trained at Indiana University's BFA Musical Theatre program. I spent my teen years training at Kansas Dance Academy and participating in MTWichita's educational programs, where I realized I wanted to pursue performing on a collegiate level. Two of my other biggest passions are textiles and digital media, which I pursued in college as an editorial staff member of IU's fashion magazine, and in my adolescence with this RU-vid channel, that now houses self-tapes and audition reels, but once held lookbooks, clothing hauls, and morning routines.
I’m currently in the midst of college auditions and right now I’m freaking out 😂. I’ve gotten a callback to my dream school but I’m so terrified for the audition. The program is wonderful and everyone is so talented, it’s hard trying to pursue these careers!

Hello!!! Thanks so much for the advice! I know that most schools don't require you to use the same material as your prescreens during the auditions, but do you have any idea if using different songs/monologues would be preferable? Or what do people usually do? Did you use the same material or chose different ones? Thanks so much!
i kept my classic song the same & changed my contemp song & my monologue. my biggest piece of advice would be use material that *you* enjoy performing and try not to worry about what type it plays to or what an auditor might think.
