Welcome to Nathalie Nahai, In Conversation (formerly The Hive Podcast), the series that enquires into our relationship with one another, technology and the living world.
Join me as we dive into the complex and challenging questions of our time, and explore how - in the face of accelerating ecological disruption, technological advancement and systemic change - we can chart a path towards a flourishing future for all.
I’ll be speaking with people who are transforming how we conceive of culture, belonging and interbeing, and mapping out the changing landscape of economics, politics and the open internet. We’ll explore the power of beauty and the arts to bring us back into contact with vitality and joy, and discover the many ways in which we might build collective resilience and community during times of turbulence.

Went to Uni with this guy from 97 to 2000. I can honestly say he was a genuinely nice bloke and regret loosing contact with not only Lawrence, but all the guys I shared a house with in Stoke on Trent. Well done on a very interesting lecture.
I’ve just started a service based business from home and want to cultivate long term customers who I can serve for their benefit and so I can profit along the way. I love the idea of humanising the web and hope I have reflected peoples choices in my website and how I use social media. As any new business, finding clients is difficult, and I worry that people are so used to being sold to, that they almost now expect it??? Also, there is so much ‘noise’ that getting noticed is difficult. Do you have any advice on where to start so that I can ensure I’m always doing the best for the customer? Sorry for the long ramble 😕
I was in two minds about commenting on this post, as Ive already thanked you for sharing another podcast elsewhere, Nathalie, and I didn't want to look like I was trolling in any way. In the words of William Shatner during one of the AIRPLANE films , 'I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes' ;-) I originally found out about you via one of Brian Rose's LONDON REAL podcasts, and just went from there. Once again, thank you for sharing. It looks like you're on the verge of 'the giggles' throughout here, which from my own experience on social media, is probably the best response to any sort of troll style nonsense on the internet. These are interesting times, and i feel the level and quality of engagement is exponentially dropping, compared with the SPEED of communication, when using web based technologies.
Agreed, I'm moving away from Facebook. Your private life, and every move by the minute, becomes way too public. Also all your info is mined for profit. What is the alternative?
