B52s are just a plain fun band, you can get any room jumping with them. Nice Cobain bootlegs even with crappy sounds. Some of Eno has some good stuff and sometimes I scratch my head.
Someday I need to try Porcupine Tree, I think I’m the only one who has not listened to them. That is a lot of stuff but loved the Husker Cards. I lost almost half a million ball cards in the flood. At least I don’t have to move them now lol
@@blakesmith3729 I worked for Miller Brewing for 18 years. People automatically think the quality of Old Milwaukee is lesser than Miller High Life or other brands. That is just not the case. An example is that Coors Lite and Keystone Light is essentially the same beer.
Some nice stuff Blake. I do like Neko Case, I just bought a greatest hits from her. Love the music in the background, did you say that was Donald Byrd? Sounds like his stuff. Nebraska in the tournament, I figured I would never see that happen.
The music in the background is actually from a rare library music album called Feelings. The musicians are Jay Richford and Gary Stevan. Originals are expensive and hard to come by, mine is a reissue from last year. I can’t believe the Huskers are in the tournament either! Exciting stuff! Thanks for watching and have a good week Steve 🙂
Cool selection, love the Minutemen and the Back From the Grave covers. Jesus Lizard and the Residents always have cool covers too. Great video Blake, have a good week!
Thanks brother! Those back from the grave records are so cool….if I had the money I would get them all. Oh well, there’s more important things in life I guess. Peace my friend.
Wow, thats a lot of Sex Pistols records! I have 1 that you didn't show..."Spunk". Its a rough version of some of the songs on "Never Mind the Bollocks", plus a few covers.
Nice collection man! Tuxedomoon is a cool band, I have their album Half Mute, which is great. Most of the punk LPs I have are the classic 70s punk albums, you have a lot of the 80s punk, which I need to get more of, especially the Dead Milkmen, and Agent Orange. I'll be checking out more of your videos, keep up the good work!
Ive got 250 items in total in my collection, seen them 6 times on reunion tours met glen, and john both in my hometown kind regards amazing band lifetime fan.
Wow! That’s a lot. I have certain artists Im obsessive about too. I’m pretty sure I don’t have 250 of anything though. Very impressive. I may have a few artists with over 100 titles. I’ll do a video doing my PIL collection soon. I love the comments, and thanks for watching my video! Take care.🎃
Hi William. Thanks for watching my video. I currently don’t have a computer and doing things on my I-phone. its always a struggle. Plus I’m behind on the times so trying to join the live stream might be an issue. Sound fun though. I’m pulling a double shifter this coming Monday. Maybe soon if you’re still doing a live stream in future. Have a good weekend!
Blake, just stumbled on your channel. Superb record room. I subbed within the first few pull outs. A collection to be envious of. You never pulled a bad album. Very envious tbh.😂 Thanks for showing.
Thank you. Will try to make more videos where I actually talk and show. Not comfortable behind camera though…plus quality is bad because I’m using a phone. Thanks for subscribing.
So jealous of your collection. Trompe le Monde is their fourth and final album as the original line-up with Kim Deal playing bass. It came out in 1991. I really didn't like it, but it's grown on me now and I enjoy it quite a bit, so maybe give it another try. Also, I thought it was funny that you're from Smith Center, Kansas because I grew up in a small town in Kansas too. I understand your pains listening to Top 40 country and pop on the radio. Anyways, good video and keep making videos!
I actually really dig Lawrence Welk. I started watching it back in the 80's when I was in junior high. What is that top record behind you? I swear I have that same album on CD, but I cannot think of the band. I'm going through them now looking for it.
Whoa Nelly! That's quite a collection. I'm very envious. I joined the good ship Flaming Lips late with the Soft Bulletin. For a while I was big into them, getting all of their earlier albums. But Embryonic was not up my street, and I've not listened to any of their latest releases. I still need to see them live. Great video. Keep 'em coming.
Hey dude...just figured it out. Thanks for comments and watching my videos. Watched a few of your videos last night.....winter in Hamburg and your first taste of Reese's peanut butter cups. My mother is addicted to those. Peace to you friend! Take care
