The last one is pretty cool. Is that a single 1-layer wrap and a peel pack acting as another layer..? If that works I'd tell my director about it asap.
Would an automated flushing system be helpful for da Vinci arms? Something like the inside of the irrigator but for flushing detergent through instead of having to use syringes for the flushing stages?
I'm with you ; I don't understand what kind of school this folks went thru or if they ever work in Decontam/. for several weeks to see the flow of it and now they are telling us "this is the right way " and on the end of it ; I don't know you fellow Tech but in my 16 year of experience and 15 Hospitals e 3 Surgical Centers , I've never seen a good work flow in these places that goes from dirty to clean and on top of the cross contamination of clean hand wash and dirty instruments thru the window ,AMMI.ST 79 ,OSHA , JAICHO its a fiasco in the case, they should go back to the designing board or get back to work in Decontam/. then probably they will get it.
Hi sir. Thank you for the videos.Keep it coming.😂😂..Please demonstrate to us how to use the mechanical washer, the ultrasonic machine and the sterilizer machine..tnx in advance..more power sir
The numbers you are referring to is the number of microbes on a device, typically used to represent the sterility assurance level of a process. 10^-6 is the goal of HLD and sterilization at minimum. 10^-4 is considered safe for handling and further reprocessing. It's a little more complex than this but that is the basics
There are facilities that does it differently. Where I worked at we didnt do it this way. First since we pre rinse and used water gun to flush out and visualize the blood coming out. And check the tips etc. Then take it to where it gets flush primed enzymatic detergent soak etc
I used to do it that way too until one day blood splashed right onto my facesheild. I then decided to not flush the ports u til I was under the surface of the water.
Starting my volunteer 400 hours in the middle of June. I left school years ago. I passed the provisional last year by going over the blue book. Any tips on being a newbie?
