they played it at the Dillo, John said that fkn song is fkn amazing, I have to meet the writer. Said you just did John, that drunk sob right there. Blaze
She arpeggios the chords at the end of the chorus, “in my life,” but he chords it, then sings those lyrics. I actually like her playing better here. Great job you two. I love this song.
I’ve watched a fee videos on this song and I have to say, your video was the best. I like that you added the vocals, it made it easier for the student. The chord diagrams were easier than trying to explain the fret and string numbers too. Great job, thank you
This helps so much, ive been learning guitar for about a year and a half now, its my first instrument, (im still young) and for some reason i just couldnt get myself to learn the notes perfectly, this made me so happy, thank you alot!
You can also use the 2 string down octaves. Basically an E note on the bass sting is an E note D string just 2 Frets down. And again G and high E string same octave principle if im thinking right.
@@bidenkidsniffer4926 thanks for commenting! The G to high E would be 3 frets due to that darn B string tuning not being a perfect 4th like the rest of them, but yes great tip!
this is a good video man, i've been playing off and on for about 3 years. probably played a year collectively. i recently started to learn my notes on the fretboard and i can do it pretty good, but i always forget which notes lack sharps and flats. i think I'm getting better at it now though
Buddy, you need to learn about microphones and room reverb! This was an unpleasant video to watch BECAUSE the audio is so poor. YOU should have noticed during editing/playback! WHY didn't you?? You mistakenly thought that using the camera's mic in a hard-walled space would be okay. WRONG! You need to get a PERSONAL MIC and use it. Read up on ROOM REVERB. No more bad sounding audio, please! Sheesh!
@@lancethrustworthy thanks so much for this heartfelt comment. You are a gentleman and a scholar. I don't have a lot of money but I'm trying to save for these things. I must admit the Google pixel phone records terrible audio. I even told them at the store what I intended to do and they assured me this was the phone I needed. I've made several videos about the poor quality of the Google pixel pro. My old phone was better. I've never been able to collect any of the money RU-vid says I've earned. I've spent about a hundred hours trying to collect the 300$ showing in my back office. I've decided to forget about that. Thanks for your input. I did notice the poor quality during playback but decided to post it anyway as I have no other means to help people learn.
@@StokesMusicStudiosOnlinethis video was super informational as a beginner and I really appreciate you putting it out there, guy above is right about the audio not being the best but he was also being a dick about the way he said it,
Do you have any videos on how to learn the thumb and finger picking togerther. Ive played guitar for 19 years, and have never learned this skill and desperately need it. Also thats not quite the key for fat boy, but great vid all the same
Love this song. Came to RU-vid to search if there was any good cover of it and I find this absolute MASTERPIECE. This should be the magnum opus for any cover around. Love it
Wow…. Guess I’m the only singer out here singing accapella in Am, and practicing in my car. Had to look up Kendrick after these comments haha! Where my musicians at?
