Here’s a super trick to nail the past simple tense: you can use it anytime you are giving information. The more details you give, the more precise your information is. This applies to both formal and informal language. Here’s another super trick: in English/American culture, formalities are used less and less. Therefore, focus more on the MESSAGE you want to deliver, rather than the formal way you are delivering it. Hope this helps! 😊
I have been learning English for one year, and I'm feel some progress. However, I write some paragraphs everyday, and I ask Chatgpt give me corrections about my paragraphs and guessing my English level, but some days, it says your English is B1 and next day says your English level is B2. Is that reliable estimation? 😂😂
