Tuolumne Meadows to VVR is a beautiful route! Great camera work! At the very end of your video it looks like you hiked along Lake Edison through the burn area instead of taking the shuttle. If your hike was 2022, I think the water level was very low in Edison that year.

I enjoyed your video. I did the JMT this year and am curious if we met on trail in August. My recollection is crossing paths at Deer Creek, a few miles south of Reds Meadow. We both sat down to eat. Did you have polenta, that you didn’t like, and I traded you some jerky and mashed potatoes? It could have been Another Sobo hiker, of course. But you reminded me of them.

I saw Snakecharmer (Eugene) on his first day on trail and also on his last day. I hiked with him his first week or two on trail out of Dunsmuir and then I met him at Campo and gave him a ride into San Diego. I also hiked the Oregon Coast Trail a month before you but I went nobo.
