Grand Hotel is very nice, and a great location if you want to be right IN Walking Street, easy to go back to your room. It is very noisy at night of course. Wear ear plugs if you sleep at midnight. Maybe ask for the room that faces North instead of the Walking Street side? ? It is nice to see the Pattaya sign on the hill and watch the sun set. I wish it had a pool. There are photos in a brochure that show an aboveground pool on the roof in times past, but gone now.
This used to be a great beach 20 years ago. Another beach I used to love was Laem Sing, which is located between Surin and Kamala beaches. It is a small beach with steep steps to navigate but worth the trek as it is picturesque.
Ha ha. The worst is what you can’t see. “Kata rock” the vip exclusive ever instagramable hotel/cafe on the point has a massive room, as big as 2 bedrooms, it’s all full of shit, and it gets emptied into this very spot once a week.
It’s your opinion but you can’t say the beaches are bad in Thailand you keep your opinion to your self am from Thailand and a very sad now you say this get some manners
