What is the connection to cause ratcheting?

It should rise really high and then fall back on that note

First row performance is nice. But second row isn't tuned. We all love analog, but this is just in tune and that's too much.

cool, I have the Behringer system 15, it has no sequencer hope to get one , at the moment I use the Moog Grandmother's sequencer.

At the beginning the sequence sounds like "White Eagle" and in the end like "Cherokee Lane". Undoubtly has TD's sound signature. Great sequence.

Reminiscent of Ricochet part 2 and then Encore side 1 at the end, from 1977.

This kind of sequencing - especially ratcheting - has had me baffled for years. But I just followed along, using Stepic sequencer and the Cherry Audio Miniverse (replicates a Model D Moog) and cracked it. Great video - thanks.

Delay/reverb is totally off/wrong as TD used it to to create what I would describe as a very subtle under rhythm that added depth and movement to their sequenced parts (listen to some TD sequencer sequences with headphones and you’ll hear it.

do you have a photo of the whole patch?

Its very important to get delay involved. Tangerine Dream did it ALL the time. In the 70's they used a modified Revox tape machine on stage to add in the delays. Delays on a sequence sound different even to multiple sequencers.
