I have a hot wheels case chock full of Redlines from my childhood. Many are missing wheels, and some are even missing the bearing. Can I use these to get wheels onto my old redlines so that I can maybe display them with wheels?

Does the hot swap bearings run as smooth as the bearings on the old redline cars?

The wheel spin is not affected by the slot in the bearing. It’s a very small slot. You have to snap the bearing onto the axle. The bearings are made out of Delrin like the original Redline bearings. Delrin is a “self-lubricating” plastic, which is one of the reasons the original Redlines went so fast. However, because thicker axles are not as refined as the thin wire axles on redlines, sometimes they don’t spin quite as well as original redlines. The thicker axles come in a variety of thicknesses, and the Hot Swaps work with all of them.

@@BrightvisionWheels Thank you so much for the reply, it answers my question. I recently purchased a flying colors Rodgerdodger and a few other cars with the same type of wheels and the hot swap bearings look like they would be the easiest way to change the wheels. Thank you again for the reply.
