Have you ever listened to any of Fiona Apples music? I'd definitely suggest her if you also like Tori Amos. In my opinion Fiona Apple is a little more like Meg than Tori. There's even comparisons to Fiona on Meg's Wikipedia and ticketmaster bio. She used to be my favorite female musician before I discovered Meg.
Although there are many live versions of this song, there is the raw emotion in this version that is present in Meg's earliest recordings. Meg tapped into the feelings when she wrote this song for this performance! As evidence of the emotion, this is the best example of Meg with autistic stimming, caused by overwhelming emotion I have seen for Meg during a performance.

I am glad you too are interested in Meg's hydration needs! I signed to the security guard Meg needed water earlier in the concert. Before and after "My Mirror" I asked for water as you may hear in the video as I motioned that water would be for Meg. After "Running Up That Hill" Meg's request seemed to go ignored so I shouted the request to the bar tender who eventually brought a "Liquid Death" drink which I do not think was touched. I did not see a way to push through the crowd or jump the stage barrier without causing a disturbance from the position front and center with people crowding me from all sides and behind. Most importantly, Meg performed an amazing show! Meg is the greatest song creator or our generation. Although it may be a matter of opinion about lyrics, the creative ways Meg introduces different types of contrast to each song in some new way and Meg's ability to portray emotion are unique to Meg. Meg's ability to change up her voice is unique to Meg and Jewel. Meg is by far my favorite performer/singer/songwriter/spiritual being. @@rglatimer3405 Good for you for trying to take care of her! But I just don't understand. Water was behind Meg's back (3 bottles). Did you ask the security guard (stage staff) to give it to her? But the water was very close! Couldn't she have taken it herself?
@@rglatimer3405 Yes! I'm absolutely agree with you about Meg's talent and voice, changing tone of her voice. And if we take into account the fact that she also writes lyrics, writes music and plays, then we can say that Meg Myers is absolutely amazing and phenomenal! Amanda Palmer from "Dresden Dolls" I think similar with Meg Myers.
