Why would you want to sacrifice space in the pilot house to give you one and a half tiny side decks? I don’t get what market this is for. If you’re in colder climates you want indoor space, so a cross cabin, if it’s hot you go for an open cabin or t-top and get a load of outdoor space. This has less of both. Is there a GTC version on its way?
It's sold out already, so that should answer part of your question. There is a GTC already called the 320 GTC which has a full beam cabin which is immensely successful. So there is something foe everyone. Would you like to arrange a viewing to see for yourself?
@@idealboat4407 Thanks for the reply. We have an Axopar 28 and we are looking to replace it because the walk around decks are not suitable for young children or the elderly. I've already had to rescue my father in law from The Solent once already after he lost balance🙂 The 320GTC is on our list, but I was hoping the 340 may have more aft cockpit. Next time I know I'm berthing in Saxon Warf I'll make an appointment with you to take a look.
Thank you. We always have a GTC on display (or available to view) at both our Hamble Point showroom and Southampton Dry Stack PDI facility. It’s worth a look as the aft cockpit area is deceptive with the space available. There’s lots of storage, seating and lounging space. There’s also lots of space for a couple of directors chairs ( to sit on and to store) Thanks once again. We’re open 7 days so just let us know when it suits you.
I’m really sorry to hear that. Ours too has cup holders, stainless steel, with lighting, on both sides, twice. AND usb USBC 12v socket Storage Wireless charging cradles Speakers And MORE
@@idealboat4407 UK , SHAME IT WILL NOT BE @ SOUTHAMPTON , going on THURSDAY , a boat for all seasons and a lot of reasons , just needs Saxdor to come up with a front boarding ladder and a launching rig for an inflatable tender on the back , at a fare price , bingo full house .
this is sooooooo good, been close to ordering the 400GTO ( which i think is parked beside it here) but now reconsidering as the outside space for sun lounging and inside for eating seems to make much more sense + added security of full enclosed , heading to Southampton next week hope both are there to compare
Hi The 340 is not at Southampton. 400 and 320 is viewing by appointment only. Please contact becs@idealboat.com to arrange appointment with full contact details and boating area. Thanks for watching
I love this boat! Finally a door where you can get out and tie it up properly if you are alone. Have been waiting for something like this. But PLEASE loose the horrible background noise in clip! It ruins the hole impression.
Hi there, This is a new Ttop. I’m 5’11 and I still have good clearance even at the lowest roof point and highest floor point.you should take another look with your dealer. You will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the question
Nothing has changed with the sea handling for 2024, it’s the same. It’s also inside and not on the water. If you want to learn more about its handling, check out MBY’s review and learn why it won boat of the year. LOL
@idealboat4407 This is AT LEAST a half million dollar boat, so any walk-thru should at least mention something about how it handles. I don't think a guy is throwing that kind of money around because of some seats, and a toilet-concealing cabinet.
This boat starts at £154,250 inc tax and inc delivery on the UK. My walk through will cover what I decide to cover. I decided to cover what I could show.
Sorry, thought it was a comment on the GTC. Start again. The 300, I feel is the perfect set up, great performance, one lot of servicing. Even the single v6 225 is good. The twin 200s are very special performance and suited to a boater with experience who knows the limitations of their ability. Short answer is A ROCKET.
I wish there was a better compromise between the open cabin and the closed cabin. I like the open cabin more but I don’t want a bunch of shower curtain liners as the walls of my expensive boat. The closed cabin defeats the main features of the boat in my opinion, it looks cool, I like it, but there’s walls that block of the drop downs and it just isn’t functional for the way the boat is laid out. I would go open before closed but I really hate the plastic shower curtains, at least give me like accordion plastic or collapsing walls or windows on struts or something.
Hi To open the hatch to access the stern cabin you have to remove the two cushions by flipping them over to the sun bed. To keep the hatch open, the cushions must remain on the sun bed I guess. Am I wrong?
If you want to leave the rear hatch up (the furthest back) you just remove the small cushion. There is a designated storage locker in the floor for this purpose. If you are referring to the two part access door, then no, they are removable and can be stored in the same locker. Thanks for watching
