Yours looks like the welds weren’t coated it probably still should have been rejected I can tell because the groove is similar to the groove on mine I think it’s just a coating issue
The one I got was good. I accidentally bought zinc coated steel ammo and it doesn’t like it. Fired brass no problem I never buy steel ammo. It shoots really soft and very accurate
That's crazy cuz I just bought mine yesterday and it doesn't look anything like that it's really nice I haven't taken it out and fired it yet but from looks in and out it's pretty nice I did order a Beretta 92 16 lb spring to see if that can Make any noticeable difference in the recoil I mean seven bucks why not
Just did background check and paid for one today the salesman and i discussed your assessment. We disassembled the one i paid for and it looks flawless. So far you seemed to get one made on a friday afternoon .
FR-8 can be on par with Ishapore despite the difference due to its magazine capacity but good news is some people already modified their FR-8 with 10 round capacity by using permanently stick Springfield M1A 10 round mag into it.
I wanted to add that ive put about 500rds thru my pioneer ak. I knew about the firing pin issue before buying. Being a technician by trade i wanted to see if there something that could be a possible problem. My finding was that the hammer spring is INSANELY strong! Seems the hammer is beating the firing pin to death. I pulled the spring and took out about 50% of the tension which was still more than enough power to set off any type of primers. Time will tell but have faith in the pioneer!
It was ordered online. In your fantasy world, is one able to call up a big box retailer and have an employee field strip any new gun you’re interested in, to inspect for problems, maybe send pics too?? Why should what others say have any bearing on what I report on my experience? People have had good ones so I can’t talk about my bad one?
@@robertallenloos or is your thinking that I should have rejected the transfer, shipped it back to the retailer on my own dime, and paid a 20% restock fee rather than accept the transfer and ship it back to the manufacturer to replace or repair for free?
@@hobofactory Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. It is really easy to trash a product that I have not seen a negative review on. I don't own one. But yes you should have sent it back. Not fantasy, my opinion. I would not except it for transfer, like you I have bought several guns. Look at the money you saved by not sending it back.....smart.
Got a Romanian Ak 47 today from the gun show it was put together by James river armory I only had a box of twenty bullets I got to shoot when I got in an didn’t jam or anything so far I hope i got a good one
the best thing you point out check it carefully one you tuber has taken it apart did not have this issue your video helps make sure we bought a good one and it will be the dealer having to deal with this issue not the buyer to send it back
Yea but there’s videos of people torture testing an import that you can get less than a domestic AK. Maybe nerds like you are just mad that newbies get into the import market for 600 bucks so they trash them on the internet to make themselves feel superior
i hear ya on the sloppy frame work but you havnt shot it? ive seen m9s that look like a hot mess in the frame that ran like a swiss watch , i get it but i wouldnt come on here complaining about what it looks like on the inside if i hadnt shot it, shoot a video and show us how it shoots personally id like to see how the fram work or lack of frame work effects the overall quality of the gun.
DERYA MELIK is a value for money. Case ejections are snappy and with more authority compared to beretta, taurus and girsan. I have yet to see a melik failure.
I agree with the other comments. I just took mine down and looks perfect. Nothing like what I’m seeing on yours. Agree send it back. 1000 rounds through mine and zero failures.
It seems you got a bad one. Just looked at both of mine and they have none of that........mine are flawless........My buddy who was Marine core armory 25 years ago instantly ordered one after inspecting mine.....great trigger was his first comment......Send it back....Not a chance they reject you.......
Max Arms still has some original surplus mags for Cz82. The price has gone up about 30% in the last year on them. Still one of the only sites you can find legit CZ mags though. They work perfectly. I've tried to stock up on a few. They're getting harder to find and more expensive
I had nothing but trouble with the two AO carbine I had. The first one would have several failures to eject per many and the replacement cracked its bolt after a box of ppu
My biggest thing that is scaring me away is that many users seem to be claiming at least sporadic reliability issues with M193 and M855 type ammunition, not just lower tier steel cased .223 and the like. It's hard to tell whether the reported problems are with the ammo itself, the gun, the magazines, some other factors, or maybe a combination of all of them. I want so bad to justify buying one of these, because they look like they would be a lot of fun, but I just can't.
Just watched a very positive video of the model with the 2 tone finish and walnut grips. Maybe this one is a fluke? I hope so,as I sure wouldn't want this one
Canik, Tisas, Girsan, Sar, Stoeger (Italian owned, Turkish made) and others all make excellent guns at low prices and that has prompted more Turkish manufacturers to export to US. One mag is not typical, depends on how the importer decided to import the gun. There are some well known European made guns people pay way too much for that have lesser quality than the five names I listed. With respect to that particular gun, I would absolutely insist they replace the gun. It is not indicative of the quality of most Turkish made guns. Email Derya in Turkey directly. They will reply. I think they will be horrified to know you received a gun like that.
@@hobofactoryit sucks they went out of business you could buy an import for less than an American AK. But old nerd like you trashed them all over the internet so nobody bought them. I got an old hellpuppy a newer 5.56 pistol and they run good
@@Sandhill1988 I’ll likely do a more detailed video once it’s all done but so far they’ve authorized a return but said it would take 4-6 weeks to get it turned around so I’m playing the waiting game.
I just picked mine up. I have much smaller amount on one of the rails that appears to be dremmeled. Not nearly as bad as yours. Fit and Finnish is good as well as the machining. I'm satisfied so far. I don't leave comments on function untill after a good break in period.
You have “other” Berettas, but didn’t take a slide off one to see if it would fit and function? I don’t mean the 92s you showed in the video. A 92s won’t function on a 92FS/ M9 frame. You didn’t even shoot it to see if it worked? Come on.
@@ncadventure2451 lol I figured what’s even the point if it’s not a keeper and needs to go back? Figure it might also help with my warranty claim to not even shoot it. When they send me a “good” I can do a more proper review.
I actually did a review on the two that I purchased and they were absolutely flawless smooth and shot perfectly fine as well. It seems you got a bad one. It happnes even on the big name brands from time to time. You've already contacted RIA send them photos and a good description, I'm sure they will replace it. You unfortunately just got one that somehow slipped through the cracks. Please update us.
Im picking mine up tomorrow after the 3 day wait. It cost $280. The outside looked fine but I didnt take the slide off at the ffl. Please update after a few hundred rounds
Wow. you got unlucky! I purchased one from buds and it looks nothing like that. Your pistol is a turd and should be returned to RIA and they'll replace it. The one I have has been completely reliable with close to 500 rounds through it.
