man why cant they remake movies like this. these utter failures that could be fixed so easily with hours of instructions on how to readily available on the internet

How is it that they cant scrounge together a few bucks to pay for a worn out middle aged slave who really doesnt serve much utility to Wato anyway (all she can do is housekeeping work and I doubt a guy who has literal fleas all over him gives a shit about cleanliness)
It started getting dark with Ira Steven Behr who thought Star Trek should be edgier (a favorite buzzword in the 80s and 90s). He tossed aside Roddenberry's vision and plunged into Dark Trek. Occasionally it worked but for the most part, it made a lot of the later Star Trek episodes and movies unwatchable.
They science faith "Midi-chlorian" that will bight them in the ass and RTD2 and C3PO should have taken their OG place as the story tellers of the Star Wars saga.
This movie would have been much better served if they had put Riker on the Titan at the beginning with Worf as his XO. They do like Sulu does in Star Trek 6 and come in at the end to help save the day.

The room with the window makes perfect sense, it is a suicide room. It is hard to reach because you don't want it to be too easy to get to the suicide room.
I love how much effort was put into the jeffries tube room, it felt like a good 3-5 minutes. You the set had a double door behind the control panel that you can see in behind the scenes shots :) Obviously when it was filmed, teh angle wasn't necessary for the scene.

In Star Trek generations you know one of the reasons why Deanna crashed the Enterprise because when a riker told her to take the helm that was Ops station I mean you people you just write anything down in the shit don't make sense
The worst part of how Kirk's death was handled is William Shatner used it to bring Kirk back in his Star Trek books, witch have the same writing qualtiy as Star Trek 5.
