I'm looking to do this upgrade on my 2021 JLU. Do I have to remove the existing stock cables? Seems like adding to the existing cables would be beneficial (unless they're in terrible condition).
The big 7 does replace your original wiring and in the case of a JLU you're getting bigger wires that can carry a larger amperage. On the newer jeeps since it's a tight space we recommend to abandon in place some of the harder to reach wiring (like batt pos to starter). I installed their 2GA on my Jeep Cherokee WJ 4.7. Hands down the best cables I’ve ever used. Quality materials. End caps are sealed and shrink wrapped. Best part, each ends are labeled for a foolproof installation. I will be using Jeep Cables. For the winch installation. I’ve recommended these Cables to friends of mine. I like them so much I put their sticker on my window. That’s the only product sticker on my Jeep.

Did this on my WJ with a 4.7. I added spiral wrap to the cables for added chaffing protection to the 2 gauge wires. I made a bracelet for the fuse. Fantastic product. I’m going to use their winch cables when I install the winch.
