I hate eureka now, I had a red one when I was little, 2006-2009 and I just got another from a thrift shop from 2005(identical to the older one I had and you have). Eureka kinda sucks now with only really airspeed models and copied Bissells

I bought one recently and it is amazing. Don't think about getting one, just buy it
