I find it ironic that the suspect ended up at the off duty’s officers residence. Very very strange. The suspect could’ve gone anywhere but he choose that specific location. Something isn’t right & it’s not adding up!
So Greg Jayne is just going to pretend like the courts are infallible? Because they say it’s constitutional it automatically is? Even though we have times in history where courts upheld obvious unconstitutional laws? Just as Rey mentioned. No the sheriff is not the ultimate authority. But neither is the courts. If they brought back slavery and upheld it in court, of course nobody should enforce those laws. The constitution is for the people and to keep our government in check. If the courts can just change whatever they want because they are infallible as Greg sees them, then the constitution is of no use.
Another group playing the public sympathy card. How did he die? In the line of duty he died of cancer as millions of other do too. Enough of the poor us game.
I despise apple and giving children something they do not need. Technology when Technology does not work you all panic and loose touch with reality. Give them a damn paper and pencil stop teaching out children to be dependent and crappt Technology they do not need.
Now with the lawsuit and name change to "Juantonio's" for "Juanita's", the product is now unacceptable. Josefina's is far better and unchanged. It also has less salt and fat. I am so glad I discovered it last year! And the bag DOES identify the manufacturer on the back as Frito Lay. Juantonio's is now smaller, more uniformly cut and NOT light, crispy and puffy anymore. It also has a brownish tinge to it. This is very disappointing for that Northwest company.
Sad, I just seen the Tiffany Hill story today on TV, you Judge John Fairgrieve let him kill her, if this guy affected a woman in your family he would be in Jail and Tiffany would still be alive. I thank the school, Tiffany's mom, the protection center, all those women supporting Tiffany and their husband's. You guys are heroes but the Judge let you guys down, so sorry. This Judge has blood on his hands, or does he dislike women or is a abuser himself. Why did you not listen to Tiffany Judge? Why? We want to know why?
A question for Ms. Erickson on AMI & incentives, you described this as a two way “communication” between the home or business & the utility company allowing the utility company to collect data on our usage, than you went on to say that word incentives! Giving us, the customer “incentives” to use our power during “non-peak” times so we don’t strain the grid. Here is my concern, with this 2-way communication will the utility company have access to shut off my power? Is this voluntary? Yes this is being rolled out in other parts of the country & they are experiencing rolling blackouts, and even though customers are told at first “no, the utilities companies do not have access to shut off power” This is false! In Denver, Co & Seattle, WA they DO HAVE ACCESS & AUTHORITY to shut off power to customers & HAVE at peak hours when customers opt in for these incentives programs. As nice and “cost saving” as these sound, when people are not being told the the entire story & work from home, have chronic health issues, take care of elderly parents- this is 100% disingenuous! I believe you are talking about smart meters being installed for electrical power. Many of us want to keep our natural gas, we are planning on making natural gas AN OPTION AS WELL AS ELECTRIC THIS NOVEMBER. We want to that choice. Please be honest about what AMI is & IS NOT, please tell customers that the utility CAN SHUT OFF POWER FROM THE UTILITY COMPANY IF IT SO CHOOSES. If Clark public utility plans on running their incentive program like Seattle’s @ Denver Make it clear the incentive program isn’t voluntary either.
Is this the same facility that has a cat program? It's a win win program for both the animals and the inmates. Perhaps more prisoners will be able to save animals in similar programs.
Until you people figure out that's it's not your job to program the residents of this county to YOUR agenda... until you knock off the bias... until you knock off your hatred of anyone to the right of Mao.,. until you stop being afraid of the will of the people? Your newspaper has no value. Your publication oozes hate. In everything from the cockroaches of Pit Yorkie Laird fame to the fringe-left "we're not biased" arrogance of Lefty Lou Brancaccio, you've done far more damage than good to this community and when you ultimately go out of business? You won't be missed.
A lot of these Superman cops think I had a state patrol. Pull me over in Tacoma, telling me he seen me with no seat. Belt on my truck had tinted windows. And I wear a seat belt wherever I go. He called me a liar. I went to court cause he kept telling me. Everybody paid their tickets. I took mine to court and got it dropped. Do I trust the skate patrol hell?No , it might be good cops out there , but I still don't trust them they suck
Mt St Helens, "I hear you guys are having a reunion." "Yeah, to look back on the destruction that took place here." Mt St Helens, "You mean like this." On a serious note glad everyone was ok.
How can this be so difficult to fix? The last I heard was 2025. No shortage of amenities at the government offices full of politically correct managers. The entire area is in a state of disrepair. The area is mostly locked down. Public river access has been denied by the State and the timber companies. This road will never be fixed, and the locked down area expanded. Was that the original intent of this massive roadway project ?
