I have never heard this song by the Smurfs before. This is the next best song after Pinocchio. It would be a good Eurovision winning entry for Belgium, because the Smurfs would be representing them, if they existed, being created by a Belgian, inspired by the old blue salt packets, found in bags of crisps.
The words in that song really hits home. I remember hearing it the first time, as a child, and it made me cry. Now as an adult, it still makes me cry, because the song is so true. Why can't we just live in peace?
