"Fight Club" (the game) makes me laugh because it's pretty much the perfect antithesis of the message that the movie was trying to convey. ...The movie was a thoughtful treatise about a bunch of guys who were fed up with the isolation and loneliness that came from constantly having to compete with one another in their consumerist lifestyles - and the means by which they choose to escape that isolation, which is by coming together for a common cause (the formation of Fight Club). ...The video game, on the other hand, is a self-indulgent macho power trip that revolves entirely around pumping up the player's ego, packaged into a neat, consumer-friendly product which was designed specifically to get at gamers' hard-earned bucks (and keep them tuned out of reality while isolated in their bed/loungeroom). The existence of a "Fight Club" video game is, in itself, a glaring example of the exact kind of tactless, soulless corporate ideology that the characters in the book/novel were rallying against in the first place. To whit: if Tyler Durden heard of a "Fight Club" video game, he'd probably laugh himself stupid and then get straight to setting off the nukes.
I like how Jerma criticized the 'air-jacking' mechanic in Wheelman for being uninteresting but then immediately got so addicted to it that he air-jacked himself out of a mission critical vehicle by total accident.
i had a manager at dominos that was the burger king meme character jerma did to fool new viewers. he was a great manager but rlly insufferable to talk to LMAO
During that Hulk game it took me forever to realize it was on the Wii, so I thought he was just getting REALLY REALLY immersed and mimicking all of Hulk's actions. Like lifting the controller a little in a Mario when you jump to make it feel like you're putting more power into the jump. I was thinking "oh my god how is he getting SO INTO this?" until I somehow finally noticed the Wii remote in his hand. Wait are there even motion controls for it? Was he ACTUALLY getting super immersed?
remember that the "iq score" is equal to (measured age / age) / * 100 its just the ratio between how well you perform on the test and how someone of your age normally performs. it was used first to test kindergarteners to see if they were ready for further education.
funny how the jerma vids get at least 50k, usually way more, and Joey gets a max of 500. gonna break the procrastination and finally watch a whole video from him out of respect
