I agree that the second penalty decision was shocking in Pat's v Sligo. Came eight minutes into five added on. Sligo should have done something with Anang's calamitous error earlier btw. Sligo's statement was "impotent rage", well said, Jesus, I nearly lost my mind the week before with terrible officiating at the Bohs - Dundalk game but I don't believe in this public whining that Sligo Rovers are at. Not a long way off from Tallaght making a show of themselves over the Devoy red card. Shels v Derry was a dull watch. I still have more faith in Derry than Shels. Jarvis and Molloy going are serious setbacks for Duff. I've had to go make a small correction elsewhere after watching this because I thought Galway won at home instead at Oriel. I think Bohs will beat Waterford. And then Waterford lose again in the Brandywell and then the questions start, should heads roll? Sorry to end in such a grim note 😂
When will these horrendous refs be stood down. Hennessy is and has been the worst ref in league of Ireland history in my opinion yet he gets top games every week. As soon as I c him coming I know it's all about him and his massive Ego. He needs to be taken off games for a month.
@@IrishFootyVlogs oh Christ so no doubt he tells them what games he wants and who he is robbing this week🤣🤣I hate seeing him arrive in the RSC as u know he is ready to be the biggest prick in the ground haha
St Pats and Rovers are both alright going forward but the defence in both are poor against more clinical opposition they'll ship a hat full of goals...but Rovers will never have an easier tie to get into the Europa league it's a very winnable tie if they manage a draw away or a narrow loss..I think St Pats are in for a difficult game most teams in that region play very quick counter attacking football and usually are quite technical not to mention it will 30+ degrees in the second leg ..
I'm a derry fan and was at the match. Don't understand y Sam Todd was playing giving the magnitude of the game and his past performances. Thought we were lucky to hold on to a point after that. Looking forward to hearing jps view of the game. UP YHE CITYYY🇲🇨🇲🇨
Another great video Keith, thanks so much! I am forever grateful for these. Two quick points (which from me means just a novella): Worth looking Keith at the Virgin broadcast to see the crowd shots they went for. They can't match the atmosphere that you can capture but it looked like they were really trying. Second point, I predicted a cagey draw in this game 😂 I went to St Mochta's v Drogheda today and it was mighty. A really enjoyable game which ended with the (other) Saints winning on penalties. Not saying it was the better game obviously but it was very enjoyable. By the way my video skills are horrific, I tried to capture the winning penalty on my phone but when I looked it over, I had a video of grass! Like something my elderly Dad would do 😂
As the saying goes, if you cant win.... dont lose, that was the case for both teams i think, too cautious and afraid to lose. Relatively happy how Shels did defensively considering we were missing key players back there, just missing a final ball through or a bit of magic, we'll take the point and move on to a tough away game in Sligo who are massively improved and were robbed in Richmond park this weekend
I'm from Cork, and I always found Tolka Park difficult to find. Now I know which bus gets you almost there, and where to get off... but it was not an easy one to learn. So I'm amazed that the Swiss marched there from the city centre. It must have taken them ages. Drumcondra is a lovely residental area, but homes are wicked expensive there. I look forward to revisiting Tolka, when Cork City are back in the top flight.
Poor game after all the hype, Derry were the better team b4 the sending off, probably still wer after it... Shels lose to Sligo & it's squeaky bum time
@@IrishFootyVlogs I thought the ref was really bad he gave nothing to anyone and Derry were dirty with the tackles to be fair but after the red card the game was just boring
LoI clubs still conceding poor goals and in Shels case an early goal...will we ever learn ...and all this when clubs are being facilitated by playing games earlier in the season. All the same, the best of luck to all our clubs.
Come on, don't compare these things. FcZ is a grown ultra scene since decades. You Irish as the Scots are on a proper way, it just takes time... (Saying me as a member of a bigger German ultra group)
I remember watching this live on my fire stick and i remember I heard someone in the crowd shout “you fxcking prxck” out really loud and it was really funny
Derry, Shams and now Shels are all out of Europe with their usual TOOTHLESS shambolic performances in Europe against middle of the road and low grade European club teams. Athletic will be gone in the next round if they manage to scrape past a Liechtenstein club in the next round. Loi clubs are absolutely useless in Europe and are always stupidly shipping their best talent abroad. They just never learn .👎👎
Pats fan here... went to the game with friends, I was directly across from the Zurich fans... they are unreal, they bounced & sang n cheered non stop from welllll before the game started and wer still at it when I was leaving after the final whistle... they wer unreal 10/10
Zurich fans were unreal even a full hour before were bouncing and singing after their march to ground from temple bar. My ears are only starting to get back to normal after the volume from them now 😂👏
Zurich Fans Were class from an hour before kick off they were bouncing Would have gave MOTM to John O Sullivan thought he ran himself into the ground was everywhere on the pitch
The last European Shels tie of note I remember was La Coruna back in the early 2000s. The home game was a 0-0 too. Not in Ireland anymore, but delighted to see them back at it.
Oh my lord that song nooooo hahaha just no 🫣🤣🙈 Ok Zombie was much better. Glad you could make the game, imagine having fans like FC Zurich in the league be class. Just two teams left let’s see if at least one of them can do it 😬
There was a great atmosphere in both sides of the stadium but yeah the Zurich fans are mental cases, seems they werent searched much going into the ground with the amount of pyro they brought, how they even get them through airport security 😂
