Yeah...definitely everyone needs a terrier mix of some sort. Thankfully mine is American Staffy, so she's not out for blood, just to chase them off. We only have garden snakes in Ohio which doesn't matter cause she has zero interest in them anyway, so I definitely wouldn't know what to do with that

Did you add an expansion joint between the house and pool deck? I have a similar install but the pavers have ridges on them to keep the spacing consistent so I think move more with heat etc and have cracked my pool cap so I'm trying to prevent that in my repair.
Consider including information about cold hardiness - with shifting weather patterns, some people would be wise to include a few varieties know for their cold-hardy nature.
Seems fair. His black and variegated bamboo is taking my yard over. I like the black bamboo it's cool, and it only puts two or three poles out a year. I'm 69 so I'm not worrying about it too much ;) PS privet can be a very cool bonsai too
My mother would make prickly pear syrup and preserves. We lived in Arizona. She would collect the fruit and stick a fork into it. She would then approch the fruit towards a flame and the prickly needles would just turn into dust. :). She was able to easily make large quantities without getting stuck in the fingers.
Thank you for your video. I live in Florida, and need to know what of time of year is best to separate these. I have one that’s about the same size as yours.

I want to do this on a pathway with a downgrade, do you have any suggestions or considerations? Its a gradual slope, very minor but its downward sloped.
Stepping stones can become slippery if installed at an angle. Try putting a little bit of mortar underneath one edge and install the steppers level. That way you are creating a little stairway.
You didnt have to launch him like that. The tote was already on its side, a quick nudge of the edge of the tote, then its upside down and the baby is on the ground. Pick up the tote being careful to make sure you keep it between you and the snake, then back up, get in your vehicle and go home. That simple. You dont have to abuse him
Beautiful. I'm hopeful you may be able to share insights on how to eliminate our yards from rats and mice. Seems they have taken over. How can we keep our yards from providing best areas, fruit trees from attracting them, best traps to use, etc. and how best to inspire a neighborhood to collectively work together to get rid of rats and mice ?
I use large rat traps and have gotten more vigilant about removing fruit from the ground. I also recommend sealing all ground access points to make it harder for rats (and snakes) to get in. Rats can climb almost anything so the traps are the best solution.
Yes, yes we do "hate" our neighbors on both sides. Disgusting trashy yards and crap... Either time to move or plant Texas Privets!! 🌄 Hope they grow fast!
Hey I live in the northern Wisconsin,I planted some 11 yrs agos and they have come up every year so far, they come up in June till august, they grow like crazy,im in zone 3.
