I guess if you want the bigger pack to double as a day pack you can do as I do which is to put my inflatable pillow inside the pack or even an ultralight inflatable mattress. That's what I do with my Arc Haul but it has sort of a frame that helps. The water bottles stay put better if the pack is full. I'm thinking about this Sub Nero for overnight hikes where I need very little food just so my Arc Haul lasts a bit longer for LONG section hikes
Thank you so much for your review. It has convinced me to get the sub-nero. My only concern is that I have a nemo switchback foam pad and I'm worried that it wont fit in the place of the sit pad. What do you think?
I climbed MT Scott 7/4/95 when I was 15. With a few friends, we took beer and smoke breaks "if you know what I mean" I could not tell you how long it took. I can tell you it took long enough for me to remember it for the rest of my life.
@@northtexashiker Last year my daughter and I hiked the foothills trail down in SC, then later we hiked a short section on the AT for a week. I'm thinking about hitting the AT in April for a longer section hike. How about you?
I have been wanting to go here n I found your video and it made me wanna get there even faster 😆 absolutely beautiful video definitely gave you a thumbs up and subscribed ❤
Thank you for this overview of the Modase. backpack. I know the video I was posted 2 years ago, are you still using this pack? How's it holding up? Thank you in advance
Super helpful to see you pack everything in there, makes me think I can go down to a Sub Nero when I was thinking of a Nero. Also helpful to know that one works as a daypack compared to the other. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. I have a MLD burn and it has the same issue you described with the Nero. It is too tall to use as a daypack. Your video showed how to pack the sun for an overnighted. How does it do as a day pack? I just carry a puffy, rain gear, snacks, lunch, and first aid kit. Does it synch down enough?
Very nice review and very informative. You mentioned in the comments section that you prefer DCF over ROBIC, but ROBIC seems to be more durable. Is that because you prefer DCF because it is lighter? I am sure I will buy sub nero but I am very confused which material to choose. I prefer the lighter weight but prefer the feel and color of ROBIC.
