SEQ Campers and Gear Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia. Experts in Sales of Kimberley Kampers-: Top of the Range OffRoad Camper Trailers, Caravans, Slide-Ons and Related Gear I am an avid camper, this site will hopefully help Kimberley Kamper, Karavan and Kruiser Owners with some tips tricks and recommendations. I hope you enjoy the videos, from SEQ Campers
I know its tear drop style, but its more of a Kimberly Rectangle. If it was standing room of at least 6ft, it would be much better. Even at 5'9", I'm out of the market. Perfect unit for most though.
I like the concept but there are gaps in the bed part. @4:48 you can clearly see daylight on the top. Maybe a seal didn’t deploy properly, but if not that is a great way for bugs and water to get in.
The unit was being set up in touring mode. If you are set up in long stay mode, or for bad weather or bad mozzies, you can let the roof down by 10 cm once the bed is out . This allows for two things to happen: 1. Locks the bed in place (ie. You would need to unlock the roof before being able to move the bed) 2. Seals the unit completely from the outside environment.
Why is this a thing? KK fans don't want to know about this. Take this thing bush and show us how it performs in the real world. Please. I really like this thing but I sure would like to see it in its natural habitat otherwise what's the point?
Overall, this is a great unit. I want one. Question: as shown here, the kitchen is a fair bit higher than the Kamper. Can it be lowered further with the air suspension?
Nice work guys. The Kube carrier when released will sit a lot lower and have special features to pivot up so that you can remain attached to access the front box. That and the ability to load bikes without having to lift the whole bike on. This'll be a game changer for adventure travellers with hefty e-bikes. Won't be long before you'll be showing it off again Shane.
I've had a KK for nine years. Been all over the place. All the videos so far are very soft. I look forward to a real world experience. Mind you, I am impressed so far. But show me this thing in the bush, at the campfire, on a track etc.
Beautiful product. That would be perfect on a trip up the beach for 2 nights away mid-week. Maybe to Double Island or Rainbow beach. Be perfect replacement/Upgrade for a camper trailer. Great that it has no bathroom indoors also. Closer to real camping.
How Loud is it? I have a made-in-china mover that works very well. But... IT IS SOOOO LOUD that I can only move my van during Council-bi-lore times that allow a lot of power tool noise. Outside of that, I can't use it. Which rules out hitching to set off early in the morning or getting away late at night.
This is for folks who loved the Kampers. Who don't want a heavy hybrid. Who actually love going camping, in the bush and want something light with all the necessary gear. I don't think it is half a solution but rather a logical step up from the Kamper.
@@nickdattner8680 There are many campers that weight well under 3500lbs that have everything this camper has including wet or dry baths and indoor cooking so if there’s inclement weather they can still cook a meal. This is a gimmick at a high price because of the size of the bed.
