Their little half miracle to hide Gabriel was incredibly powerful. I imagine them getting together and going all out on a miracle could change heaven and hell.❤
I don't know but it seems like to me they want Crowley back in Heaven and is sneakily trying to use Aziraphale to do it. I never noticed that Heaven let Crowley keep his crank, he used to start the universe in Heaven I noticed he still has it as a demon when his car blows up it falls on the ground he even uses it to talk to Adam privately with Aziraphale. They hounded Aziraphale about that flaming sword but never once tried to take that crank from Crowley, why not?
When they are casting Gabriel out of his position in Heaven he thinks they'll banish him to Hell and the Metatron says to cast one prince to Hell makes for good talk they are referring to Crowley.
Good Omens on Amazon Prime. An angel and a demon team up to stop the Apocalypse because they love the earth (and each other though they have trouble admitting it) and don't want it to end. Hilarious and thought-provoking.
"One fallen prince of heaven makes for a good story..." My take is this is crowley, obviously renamed. Crowley was that prince, that high up, and he is feigning memory loss (untreated severe PTSD is my diagnosis). Says he doesn't remember, but surprisingly does when drunk and knows his way around once there.
First scene and opening the secure book show that Crowley was The Admin , Everyone remembers him but they were just one of many users to him. He pushed the button that actually started everything, he knew technical details but not the business plan, asked about the plan and got sacked but years later still knew the admin password.
When some on tried to .... heh reconvert me after 20 years of being an ashiest they invited me to a bible study I said fine... I get to choose the book... They said fine.... I chose the book ofJob...... Bible study ended after 10 minutes from shame and embarrassment..
what's the music at 0:39 ? reminds very much of ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KK20U6oKrh4.html with song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yDw9UfANQNc.html
What I love the most about the scene before the beginning, is that you can see and feel Crowley's innocence and pure enthusiasm. He's nothing like how he will be after his fall. David Tennant did a great job showing that difference.
Guys, i was in jail when i found this book, neil gaiman and some other guy wrote it, missing a cover and like the fiest forty pages.. short book, i tried to ration it to myself lol.. a week after I finished the book, alone in my bunk at like 4am.. they bring in new books, and there in the pile of new books is american gods.. i didnt know neil gaiman wrote either book until i finished them both tho, and was already out of jail, my point is that in that godless place, god, the devil, shadow moon, they were there with me, I was never alone in that place.. it was lovely. I also read Coraline there, same stint. The chances of me having those books dropped in my lap while I was in jail are astronomical guys.. neil gaiman is the shit.. praise god baby...
Unfortunately, Season 3 seems to be designed around a complete logical fallacy. In about 3:08 to 3:35, Gaiman establishes in scene that the person who was crucified was just a man telling people to be nice to one another, not to be confused with the Son of God or anyone of great importance. At the end of Season 2, the Metatron indicates that the next great event planned is the "Second Coming". Well, this series can't have a "Second" coming, because it didn't acknowledge the first. That kind of ruins it all for me.
No such thing was established in their conversation at the Crucifixion. Nowhere do they say he is not of divine parentage. Aziraphale is obviously condensing and paraphrasing Jesus's teachings, and there's no indication that he did not perform healings or miracles. And there's no "just" in the message to be kind--it is a revolutionary, dangerous idea to humanity, witnessed by how ruthlessly authoritarian governments and evil individuals have crushed those who call for treating one's neighbor with love (think MLK Jr.).
You forgot the Good Omens lockdown special when Aziraphale mentions that during lockdown he got peckish and cooked 4 different types of cakes and sourdough and ended up eating them all himself, technically that IS canon too 👀
