Hello friends, we are two young boys from Czech Republic. One of us have 15 years and second 13. And our Father in us BIG sponsor. We make plastic models about 7 years. Definition of Duo Prckos: Duo= Two Prckos= Small children
I’m now building this kit and using your work as inspiration and a guide. I really liked your scratch built details, particularly the wiring. Thanks again for sharing.
Love the circus Muzak. NOT. Have you ever done a hard day's work? My wife is envious of those hands - mine are scared, calloused and rough as, I work the land and build - homes, surfboards, fences... and model aircraft... 45 year's "on the tool's" has a lasting affect. The music is overpowering what you are doing and yes, I know what volume means. Sincere regards from Sydney and Ballina. MATE!
i tried yesterday to put the right under-wing decal of my Eduards spit unsuccessfully! very disappointed not going to buy ant of the Eduards kit anymore unless they bring back the Cartograf ones!!!!
Once down leave your decals for at least 24 hours to properly sit down and dry/set, then use masking tape to start lifting the top film layer (even though Eduard say the top layer is not designed to be removed). As you peel off the masking tape (straight on and off, applying medium pressure) the film starts to lift off. Of course it probably won’t lift off the entire decal film but it will lift enough to leave edges that are easy to get to with tweezers. A couple of tries maybe required. This has worked for me every time. I haven’t lost a decal since using this method. I agree though, it was daft for Eduard to start reinventing the wheel. Perhaps it’s a cost saving manoeuvre?
If the masking tape doesn't tear the decals -- which it does half the time 🙄. No, thanks. I'm not going to spend hours assembling a good (possibly expensive) model and paint it up carefully just to have the whole build wrecked by bad decals. You can have 'em.
So Eduard went from having the best decals, to having the worst. Well done. I'm certainly no buying any more new Eduard kits until they give this nonesense up.
Hey awesome! Was wanting to see this bad boy built and RU-vid actually recommended your channel. Subscribed. Now I can follow along, been a modeler for over 30yrs and I like what I see here.
@@duoprckos6356 Hahahahaha I did the same to my old man! I was truly blessed to have the father I did. He taught me not only how to build scale models and enjoy them but how to be a real man. I am forever grateful.
The kit is very nice. And all recomendations will be in 2 Part. This model is fit like Tempest V in 1/32 scale. Big parts of this model are shortrun, some modelars skill is on point.
I have this kit and have bought a bit of aftermarket for it to get free shipping from Hannants on other stuff I wanted unrelated to this kit - instrument panel, wheels and guns as I recall. It looks really nice in the box and its clear from this video a very nice model can result without aftermarket if modelling skills at a high level, as evident here, are applied.
Im wondering, why inventing the wheel new. There was an English company making vacu kits in the 1990s which had a similar style of decals. But the top layer was basically immediately removable.
@@gavinblackburn3105 Actually no. The company was called something with Hangar or so. The decals were not marked, so I don’t know if they were also made by them or they were supplied by someone else.
I was thinking of getting the Spitfire story boxing of the new spit as there was a scheme I really wanted to do. However I think I'll give it a miss and look for other options as I really don't fancy having the hassle of those decals 🤔
