Hello, I have been using rotork CML actuator and we have recieved an ACTUATOR EEEOR ALARM on the remote display panel. Also i can see some alarm is there on the local valve controller. How do we identidy and rectify this mentioned alarm Thanks
Yes sir I understand, they call it the zero deflection setting. If you look in the CVS V100 manual pg 3 it will tell you how many shims to remove after reaching zero deflection.
Thank you very much for the video, I have one clarification needed. Is it ok if we leave vent open as it is from the supplier or do we need to make some arrangement for it by using any valve? It would be of great help if you please answer this!!
Sorry for the delayed response, it is fine to leave the vent as is. 99% of them in the field just have the exposed vent and I rarely hear of issues. Thanks
A really great explanation. But one question. if I want to set the limits, do I need to rotate manually which as you said it is gonna take a year. Or there is another way to set your limits ??
for safety purposes, you have to do it manually and the best choice to do it first is close. after you set the limit for close, you can use manual operating to open and set it. the travel or the opening and closing of the actuator to set the limit is depending on what size of the valve is. the bigger the valve, the more turns, the smaller the valve, less turns.
