There is tie down points mate those round Allen key holes are it! Unscrew them and u buy the tie down kits from kings, put the buckles on and screw them back in mine is on a fridge slide tied down in the cover in my ute she dont go nowhere! Just thought id add that for any1 new lookikg at this review.
Ive had my 65L setup with a 12v battery box in the back of my ute canopy, havent had any dramas with it had it about a yr now but I've heard some ppl bought dudds! I didnt realise they only came with a 1yr warranty until way after id used it so if i knew that i probs wouldnt of bought it but for $300 u cant really complain youd pay that for a decent esky these days. Impressed with how quick it cools from 25°c to 5°c in 15mins is pretty good. If i buy another id buy the staycool type metal one
Hi Mate, I feel sorry for you it’s a real pane in the but. And that’s why I won’t buy anything electrical from interstate . It’s no one’s fault it’s just that Australia is a huge country and it takes a long time to get anywhere. I think it’s better to to buy local or from manufacturers that have stores in every state. I live in a small country town in WA 500 Ks from Perth and even I try to buy locally at Albany which is 55 KS away and it really gives me peace of mind. Anyway cobber good luck with your replacement looking forward to hearing the result. Jon
I just watched an interesting video on fridge covers, the covers make the fridge less effective! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_fhnGbGyZVg.html
So how do you reload there if you run out of bullets? Like I mean when everythings out, your magd and refills.. Do they have a refill area there for the gelballs?
Get a 5w lightglobe between positive of inverter and battery positive and wait for light globe to go dull then connect the positive cable to battery, no spark, no inrush current.
Arrr that sucks. Have you tried to hook the battery to a different inverter and see if it dose the same, worth a try even though your inverter was tested by Kick Ass. It does sound like the battery faulty though as it should work on any inverter. Be interesting to see what iTech World have to say.
Mate I'm having same trouble with my 12v setup it has got.to do with the current that the inverter is pulling to charge the super capacitors in the inverter. The bms I suspect is going out on short circuit protection
G day mate was wondering how the 20 lt kings fridge is going ,can't see where you've done a follow up vid.. can you please tell your verdict on it. ..thxs 👍
It been running in my room since I did that video and has never turned off so it's been good for me but that's inside a house not sure how good it is when it's in a hot car
Ive got the same slide & titan drawers in an 80 series and the slide is exactly the same width as the Titan slide (1070mm) so a perfect fit. Fridge lid opening height was a bit of an issue with the Kickass slide being elevated so much so I removed the cutting board and re drilled the holes too remount the sliding mechanism in the frame and also cut the turned up lip at the front off. Works a treat now and no issues extending both slides out - just be sensible about leaning on it etc but in reality is only out all the way occasionally and then slid back. As the original holes are left in place if I ever want to revert it back to having the cutting board is a 5 minute job
Hi mate just wondering how this charger is going so far, as I brought one myself. I be charging up my AGM batteries if I'm even at home when the clouds are out and not much sun is being put in the battery.
Gday mate, I’ve got a similiar problem with the mounts, know what the parts called/ where you can find replacements for sale? I’ve had no luck lol, Cheers
Yes the ignition wire needs to be connected if your vehicle has a smart alternator the 2010 hilux doesn't have one so doesn't need to be connected but I would recommend contacting it anyway just in case
Hay mate, I just wanted to give you some advice from my time I've had mine. This unit is good for doing one or 2 tyres. When you get to the 3rd or 4th, the wiring gets very warm, almost not able to touch it. Mine has melted the circuit board inside the unit. The pumps are great, but they're under size on the wiring loom. It's crap. Mine doesn't stop now because the pressure switch melted from doing 4 tyres. They pump quickly, but you have to let it cool down after 2 tyres. I'm currently upgrading my wiring loom to a heavier duty wire and relay and pressure switch. Which I would recommend to do when the warranty expires.
Hey, are they supposed to be on all the time? When I leave my camper and turn everything off the lights stay on. I’m worried it’s drawing power or I’m supposed to switch it off somewhere thank s
Bought the same Charger returned it for a refund they are JUNK it will cook your batteries, kickass believes it normal for this charger to charge for 24 hours on a brand new 120AH battery they said it may take up to 36 hours, yet my old Ctek 10Amp can do it within 6 hours with no heat to the battery, from Kickass website states "It is capable of charging your battery up quickly with its fast-charging 22A charging modes" yet read the manual up to 36 hours. I bought the 10Amp NOCO hands down a better charger then the Kickass and at the same price point with 3 years warranty over kickass 1 year.
Good video i got it free with another item i bought ,i was amazed sound out off it real hands on straight up down video thanks for posting ,agree totaly usb c would been nice but you can get adapter on ebay couple bucks etc...
This is one of the best high detail reviews I have seen. This seems like an ideal secondary because of the steal construction. After this i ended up buying a 5.1 version of this gun at M4A1, green gas though. Great video!
I was wondering why you weren't getting more watts. Then you showed the pwd controller. Get the 20amp MPPT from kickass. I have it and it's a great piece of kit.
