The measurements you have for the R41 are probably the new version - they changed it to be less aggressive around a decade ago and as you say its not all about blade gap but geometry too. I like the look of the Mamba 53 it reminds me of the design of my PAA Meta4 head (without the scalloped top plate) which is also a really smooth shave,

Love your vids Alex, and your jokes. I have same razor, and TOBS lime. With that razor I find the Feather blade a bit harsh, so I use the Wilkinson sword., and its far better. Take care
Hey Alex, great video as always. I really enjoy TOBS sandalwood. I do however want to try some of their other soaps. I wanted to ask you if there is a difference in the shave you get using their different soaps, or are they all the same, just different scents? Hope you have a great day.
Hi Jeff , you know they are all pretty much the same at least thats what I feel , and the scents some are stronger then others but they are all great qualty shave creams, Stay Smooth Friend😎👍
TOBS is my favorite. Lime Zest and Grapefruit are refreshing citrus scents! Your joke reminded me of the one where two old men were talking. The first man complained about having to get up 3 or 4 times every night to go to the bathroom. The other old man said, "At least you get up." That was a nice hat you were gifted!
