Didge Project is a blog, youtube channel, producer of courses and events, instrument store and a collective of musicians who want to help you use music as a tool for uplifting yourself and those around you.
Here you will find tips and tutorials to help you become a better musician as well as instrument reviews, performances and reports on the latest sound-related discoveries.
When we began in 2008 our main focus was on teaching how to play the didgeridoo, a wind instrument originating in aboriginal Australia and also said to be present in ancient Mayan times. After working with countless people it became apparent that most musicians play multiple instruments and that we have the community resources to help all musicians get better results. While we still provide didgeridoo lessons, classes and programs, our focus is to provide tutorials for music and instruments from all around the world. Visit us for great music resources at www.didgeproject.com
Im curious how it sounds in person. It sounds like the Handpan has more sounds happening, gives an authentic beautiful persian sound (I think). The Rav is a cleaner sound, more of a pop, like church bells, also very beautiful. Personally, I ordered my first Rav, waiting for it to arrive, very excited 😍Might have to get a handpan in the future.
Thank you so much for your video. I fell in love with the crystal pyramid. So powerful just listening to the crystal pyramid, only imagining the incredible vibration it will sing. After watching the video I went hunting for a good price crystal pyramid, since it can be expensive, but I found a crystal pyramid with incredible price, I still can’t believe no one purchase this 12 inches topfund pyramid. Thank you again. Good vibes towards you !!
This is so helpful. Thank you. I bought this didgeridoo about 20 years ago. I didn't even know what it was. I just was drawn to it. It has had a spot on my wall for over two decades. THEN, all these years later I began learning about frequencies and the power of sound in worship. I saw someone playing a didgeridoo and the resonance filled me up with joy, especially since I recognized that "art piece" on my wall was a gift from Yah. I am so grateful. Again, thank you.
Looks a good method to try AJ, i can spit water (or air) and inhale so I'm practicing that for now in between just trying to improve my sound. Small steps at the moment but i only have a few hours under my belt.
Thanks, I think this is an important step for me as my drone is just too low. I get better resonance by loosening the seal to the mouthpiece but I know it's not correct. Luckily i am blessed with full fat lips lol so they do buzz pretty well, just not in full control yet.
Love the way you guys played the tongue drum together with the skater and bell. Also your energy is so mellow . I myself just started my sound healing journey as a sound healer . Seeing all the ways a person can use different instruments and stuff is great . Thank for your content ❤ namaste 🙏
I assure you these are real testimonials from people we worked with who started with sleep apnea and saw significant improvement after playing the didgeridoo
You did a great job here explaining the different elements and techniques available to practice. I'm still very much a beginner moving beyond the basic drone and exploring finding ways of making tones etc so most of it is beyond my capabilities at the moment. However when off the didge i practice blowing up my cheeks and sniffing air whilst blowing, can do it a little but i struggle once I'm also blowing the raspberry. Will try some more of it once i feel ready.
