The thing is, Rocky Balboa had never been stronger, tougher, or more determined than in the fourth movie. And... like Duke reminded him in the final round, he wanted it so much more. The training montage showed that Rocky didn't travel to Russia to win a match. He went there to rip Drago's heart out and show it to him. "Drago!! DRAGOO!!!"
If Apollo‘s wife had seen Rocky in the match against Drago, who made her a widow with no remorse after Drago killed Apollo in the 2nd round of an exhibition match, she must‘ve been worried seeing a true case of David Vs Goliath and hoped that Rocky would make Drago pay by beating him in his own country.
Adrian: It's suicide. You've seen him, you know how strong he is. You can't win. Rocky: Oh, Adrian. Adrian always tells the truth. No, maybe I can't win. Maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he's got. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that. I don't know." :) :)
I swear down,Rocky 4 has probably one of the best soundtracks in movie history. Now while I haven't seen the movie in a while and don't recall it having Eye of the Tiger it did have Hearts on Fire which was honestly a way better choice,in my opinion,to have over the training montage
