Another great show! I love love love what you guys are doing and the conversations you're starting! One very interesting thing that was brought up is the difference between how we view women vs. men with graying hair. She looks old vs. he looks distinguished. That is so very true. It actually brought up another topic, actually a few other topics that are par for the course. Please keep these dialogues going! We need this! I'm so proud of you guys!
Hi, Guys. Another great show; can’t thank you enough for talking about this issue that impacts every women, every day. The pressure on women to look beautiful in immense. How many of us spend countless hours and dollars every week in order to trim, highlight, hide, and cover various parts of our body? It is not even about vanity anymore. The expectation for all of us to look like a cookie-cutter standard of beauty is damaging not just the impressionable minds of young girls but they are also compelling older more experienced women to take, sometimes drastic, measures to change their body. For most women it is usual guilt followed after eating a slice of cheese cake, or taking a second helping of the pasta. Going on crazy diets, and buying “miracle fat dissolving” pills on internet, these is no end to the crazy stuff we will squeeze our bodies through to get to that supermodel look. But here is the biggest irony, we are the ones doing it to ourselves. Here are a few words from some of the most beautiful women on earth: “I don’t really think I am the most beautiful woman in the world at all.” - Jayne Mansfield “I don’t think I am a beautiful woman. Ava Gardner is. I think Audrey Hepburn is.” - Elizabeth Taylor “I had an enormous complex about my looks. I thought I was ugly and I was afraid no one would marry me.” - Audrey Hepburn “I was tall, thin, ugly…” - Sophia Loren Think about it!!!
Great show, Ladies. Once again you all have raised an important issue. Colorism is part of many ethnic societies. Especially in India, where having a darker skin might affect one’s prospects in job interviews, chances of having a carrier in TV and films, and of course, the likelihood of securing a suitable marriage proposal. We see it every day on the bill boards - the girl with dark skin has a sad and downcast expression on her face; and then she uses the fairness cream and not only her skin becomes instantly lighter toned, she is smiling with sleek, straight hair and has much more confidence. Now, they are also targeting men. In a country where 90% of the population is various shades of brown, why leave out the men. I mean they are practically selling confidence and success in bottle, who would not want it? I want to personally thank the hosts of S.I.T. (Social Issues Time) to bring up this issue. And I agree that the only way to tackle this problem is to talk about it among ourselves and especially to the younger generation so that they do not inherit our shame and prejudice of our dark skin.
Great concept! I think you may want to shorten the episodes and introduce various topics rather than allowing the conversation to morph from one topic to the next. Include the topic in the text intro so viewers can read what the episode will be about. The sound may need some help as well. When you're all talking normally, the sound is soft but when you all laugh the volume is very loud. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the whole idea! You all look beautiful. Be careful not to give the camera the back of your heads! This is going to be cosmic!
Loved the discussion! Interesting program - women’s perspective in an unscripted, informal way. The hosts sound informed, well researched and more importantly passionate about the debate. What I liked the most is that you guys are not some privileged women looking for their five minutes of fame, you shared your stories and experiences. The issues have meaning for you, which is probably why you did not skirt around any questions, but discussed them honestly and openly. Great chemistry among the ladies too; the conversation flowed easily even though you all were discussing tough questions. A little message for the girl who did the funny accents, “God is Watching; so keep up the good work.” Great job girls! Looking forward to the next episode.
It's perfect! It was very much in order, but not too scripted-sounding. And it was not boring. You have to be very careful not to bore your audience with too long of a show, especially when you're just starting out since people have such short attention spans, and I think you guys did a FANTASTIC job with that! The conversation was lively, the subjects were current and relevant, and y'all didn't drill down on one particular topic for the duration of the show. Nice flow, and great chemistry among you all. You kept it interesting throughout. Thanks for doing this! We need this!

Oh sweet Chasity, how I remember her from high school. The one and only girl who had more talent through art, through music, that exploded from her mind and out through her fingertips than anyone else I have ever met in life. I adored her then, I adore her now. I know that for a fact she is strong. I'm so happy to see her again... knowing she is at the top of her mountain.
Love you much Tilde!!! Thank you for all of your community work and openness. Your story is heartmelting and soul warming. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
