All dopers are definitely determined, risk takers and innovative. They all say they have learnt whilst seeking acceptance and forgiveness. Not all dopers are able to resist the temptation to return. Especially when trying to get back on top is hard.
It must be such a life change from a honorable world champion to a cheater even hated by Chinese people. Looks like Sun Yang is learning a lesson from it and getting more mature. I’m happy to see him come back
So many simps and 50cents in the comments defending him. We KNOW he's a horrible, and arrogant person, and did not have ANY sportsmanship, what so ever. "Me WINNER. YOU LOSER!!"
Chinese swimmers had tested positive for TMZ, a performance-enhancing heart drug. Nothing was made public at the time. The case was first publicised in April 2024 by the German TV station ARD and the New York Times, by which point many of those listed as affected had competed at Tokyo 2020. Eleven of those named in the reports are competing in Paris Olympics.
It was food contamination, if anything it was the Tokyo organizer's fault or a potential sabotage by hostile teams. And the amount presented in their blood are so small that will have no effect to the performance what's so ever.
@@DonLee1980Yes and it’s a pathetic excuse. China and Russia are well known for their state sponsored doping programs there is zero reason to believe this swimmer wasn’t/isn’t apart of it. They use the olympics for geopolitical gain that is all they care about it is a tool for them and they don’t have the principles to not cheat to get what they want.
Very difficult to get that drug crushed up and into a kitchen, let alone food. I don’t think the officials cared whether the investigation findings and explanation made sense. It’s about demonstrating power.
@@luceafarul579 stop defending this guy man. he doped, cheated, had no respect, no sportmanship,.... The worst face that swimming could possibly have. Lifetime ban I would give him!
For those who still think he cheated, please read his wiki page fully before you make comment, it explains the full story, and you’ll see how misleading the big M has been reporting the whole thing.
Cheating or not this guy is arguably good for swimming in a lot of ways. He still has that spirit for competition and lets be honest...the guys technique is seemingly flawless. Doping allegations aside, his form is aspiring
Tbh, I'm cheering for this guy. A comeback like that, nothing but respect if he achieves it. Unless of course, he doesn't follow doping protocol like last time. I doubt he even doped the first time, but smashing blood tests is just wrong.
@@NRClips3414 he didn’t do it, that was his team experts. Because they cannot let them have his blood without proper credentials and they won’t send a proper credential replacement. So that was the only way. Imagine some unknown personnel having your blood. Let’s say they spiked your blood with something, and you can’t trace who it was, how dangerous that would be? Please read his wiki which explains everything..
@@NRClips3414 and also, there was nothing on the doping protocol that says that he can’t do it under those circumstances. That’s why even fina defended his action and found it reasonable..
Western world perfect good at make fake news anti China propaganda. Sun Yang have been clean, never had a problem, China itself more stricter than Any so called international rules. Once found someone has problem, China will ban it first before international organization
That is an objective lie chinas anti doping agency will ban a swimmer after significant enough pushback that they can’t ignore and then not long after say the swimmer is cleared to compete again. It is all superficial it is just optics trying to fool gullible people like you into thinking something was done.
China's rule is stupid, didn't allow him to compete in Paris. If you know you have a national treasure that all the white swimmers fear, why not make it an exception to the rule and allow this man to swim again immediately. I have no doubt he will dominate again! You're going to make him wait another 4 years until he's 36? What a waste.
China just figured out that as long as they don’t test their athletes in the off season they can get away with doping lmao. Come to the states and train where the athletes actually get tested
Zhang is very popular with boxing fans in the UK after boxing over here and against Hrgovic in America. He’s going to make a lot of money from his remaining fights.
Xiran Jay Zhao (look her up, she's so cool!) made an interesting distinction that because food is a cultural element and not a monolith, it's important to recognize that there is no such thing as a "real" gongbao hiding. Therefore, it's better not to distinguish things as authentic/nonauthentic just because they come from mainland China or not, because that adds to the identity conflict that I and many diaspora cultures experience: too American to be authentic, but also too authentic to be American. It might be better to change our perspective to look at it as Chinese-American style gongbao jidang? It's the same dish that's alive and has adapted to survive where mostly yt people live 😂😂😂
