A dear friend of mine used to play this. Classically trained. He sustained an injury to the middle finger on his fretting hand, and the finger is crippled. He's going to try to get surgery. 50/50 chance. This song makes me sad now. A beautiful piece, beautifully played.
I just started to learn your song! It's great to find a finger style song that is "doable" for an intermediate player and which sounds this good. Thank you, Bob!
That “here we are in the olden days” part is so freaking good man, it makes the song. Love this cover! Thanks for posting! Edit: I also love that little bit of fun ya had with the cameras at 1:20 lol, awesome.
Incredible performance ! Never heard Joplin's masterpiece Maple Leaf Rag on guitar before. You have set the barre, for how it should be performed ,Mr. Evans ( and it is quite high, lol)
Beautifully played. There's a few parts of the arrangement and harmony that sound a bit jarring to me but it's far from an easy tune to play as written on guitar
