I cant stand the man, always moaning, always complaining, always making a noise about things, always expressing his defamed and presumption opinion, always contradicting other people, always expressing his senile viewpoint. Just noise, moaning , complaining, noise, moaning complaining, noise, moaning complaining. I would never, ever behave in his manner. I would complain to my MP, and if that did not work, then to the King, and if that did not work get Trump in, and if that did not work, I would organise a mass 100,000 rally to moan about his behaviour.
Is this simply a compilation of the BASF 4 tape? This sounds nothing like a chrome tape, even if worn out, and the songs have no crackling sound from vinyl, broadcast from radio, maybe the orginal boombox had an pmx filter for the static, thus the lack of it on TMS, but I think the song itself is from a tape, not a record Edit: It should be a full mixtape, right? The original cassette was a BASF 90 Cro2, would Darius have recorded 43 minutes on one side, and 3 on the other instead of cutting out one song, especially after the struggle of cataloguing every single one and having a 90 min chrome tape which sells for like a gram of gold's worth today...
Unexpectedly off-topic, but the 1st song reminds me of classic “Kyd” chiptune music. Likely inspiration- Oh, & the last song also reeks major Sega Genesis vibes.
Only a complete fool would pay pay pay and keep paying, u will always be poor, the evil greedy cooperation's would have u believe the sky is falling if you don't keep subscribing. These criminals now bundle consent into contracts, and steal you're data and sell it. They play on you're ethics and make you feel like a thief, where they are actually the thieves. All it takes too is a data breech and you're ID is stolen.
Its all nonsense, the truth is when u copy a movie or music for free the major greedy evil corporations miss-out on huge profits, and say its burning the industry, they are the greedy criminals that have destroyed the industry. They pay the creators peanuts to nothing, that why bands and artists need to tour, the few cents for each record sold did not cut it, now its way worse with streaming platforms, artists get nothing, now people make money by gaming the system use fake AI and trick the algorithm and run scams. The quality of the content has gone down hill too.
It's funny how my 4 favorite songs on this are all next to each other. I Wear My Sunglasses at Night, Ghostbusters, Twilight Zone, and "Blind the Wind". I wonder if we'll ever find who made the song or if we'll ever find a higher quality version.
Why does depeche mode have a sample of like the wind? At the start it says "like like" and it sounds a lot like the lost song. Prob not the first to notice but might as well say it.
This was on before my Thomas the tank engine video. I think watching it was my first taste of anxiety at 6 years old. Could hardly focus on what Thomas got up to after this
I know the main focus here is the unkown song but anyone else notice what an awesome mix tape Darius made as a whole? It has become a regular playlist when working and recorded on tape for listening when at home lol
Yep, this ad terrified me as a 6 to 10 year old kid too. I remember it on my tapes of Home Alone and Harry Potter before the films started. Also, it was unskippable on an animated Mr Bean DVD from what I remember. But as an adult, I find it extremely melodramatic and hilarious to watch, it's far from terrifying. 🤣
I find it very strange that 'Like the Wind' does not really seem to fit into this lineup. The other songs are very synth-heavy with a more positive attitude and often experimental while TMS is melancholic and more conservative in instrumentation. It also seems to go with a more traditional rhythm and pacing. The production quality is not bad but not top notch. It falls a bit flat compared to the other songs in this sampler. Strangely enough, this makes the song stand out more and captures my emotion with its monotone and melancholic singer. A nice time capsule.
