Its like taking a ramp vs taking the stairs. A 20 year old, single, aggressive, motivated dude will be better in the regular Jiu Jitsu, roll the first day. Its okay, your body can heal faster, you have energy, and likely not much responsibilities other than taking care of yourself. A 35 year old with a wife and 2 kids, needs to ease into it more. Can't afford to get injured and miss work. Body is not what it used to. Acquiring the skill efficiently is of higher priority, less reliance on energy and aggression.
It's funny how this usurpers/impostors from the Netherlands think Africa is their home. Within 100 years, they will be extinct in South Africa. The population of Blacks in Africa will only increase exponentially each decade. They were doomed from the start the moment jack van reebeck set foot on the shores of table mountain.
So underrated, watched him from his EFC days told my mates he would dominate in the UFC none of them believed me (Canadians, Americans Brits etc) even after the first few fights they were not convinced but some of us could just see the guy is special.
Millions of starving Africans migrate to Europe or US to get a better life. If you still live in SA ,that doesn't make you the real African. It's s so childish for DDP to bring such up. Dont forget who Izzy really is. Dricus is not one of the greatest middleweight of all time but Adesanya is. When you're blatantly bias you lose subscribers. Its unprofessional and makes you sound like a SA xenophobic twat
@hackcheckpodcast32 Dana white himself said it himself rarely does that man get it wrong. To win the belt you have to convincingly defeat the champion. That dricus did not, he was lucky
Baie cool!! Janee Dricus is wakker.
Physically, he is built to kill.. Not technical. He is also incredibly intelligent and adaptive.. His nature allows him to have nine lives, even when you put him in a lot of trouble! That is Dricus in a nutshell.. You cannot overcome him in his prime if you are not extra special.🤞😒
@@misteromiseria5756 Dricus is super technical, I guess it probably just looks wil sometimes because in the heat of a fight you do what you have to do.
@@hackcheckpodcast32 He has technique included as part of everything else instead of being his ultimate approach/method; that is what I meant.. Obviously he is highly technical in terms of general capability, that is beyond clear. 😒🤞
This was an exceptionally fluid and informative interview, well done to all involved. Niel has always had the ability to combine the aspects of fighting with life. He simplifies complex thoughts and strategies into nuggets of gold that every person can implement and use in whichever aspect of their lives it might be useful for. Well done Niel, and best of luck to Dricus & his team.
Bring the belt Home Dricus,, we here in South Africa are behind you all the way,, Hulle Ken nie poesklap,, And the next big fight must be in South Africa,, ini KAAP MY BRU
Dricus het die hart en die wil. Hy moet net aan die tegniesie punte bietjie meer aandag gee. Hy is reeds baie goed, moet my nie verkeerd verstaan, maar hy moet werk aan die kleiner details. Hou die manne langer op die grond. Dis 'n sterk punt. Genruik dit.
Is it too much of a reach to call Neil Mr Miyagi? He's giving off those vibes. I enjoyed the interview, he's very humble and doesn't encourage talking bad or looking down on anyone, Dricus is a lucky guy to have such a person that brings him down to earth.
Team CIT is on top of technical and emotional conditioning... no wonder Dricus is a world champ. They must pay Rassie Erasmus a million bucks to spend a few months in the team. They will be strategically unbeatable. Over and out. 😎
Feite!
Nice one boys. I cannot wait for the rematch. You can trust that Dricus and Sean will both make changes, but I think you guys will end up on top by just pure determination and work ethic.
Niel should have compare MMA fighting to Case Study Exams. You understand the background of the company and industry, but predicting the unseen scenario is difficult. You will not find the asking to the question in your notes or textbook.
Sparring with brown and black belts on my first day led to me training 17 years. Everyone is different and knowing whether to make someone skip rolling in the beginning or kicking their ass on the first day is all part of being a great instructor!
Rolling with brown and black belts is probably the safest, most gentle roll a beginner could have (if the brown- and black belts aren't jerks). The risk of injuries and overall craziness is more likely with white belts sparring with each other I think.
