I stayed here as part of a tour that included accommodation. So I am not aware of the exact tariff but I think, it is around Rs 3000-3500. The location needs you to walk for 5-10minutes from the main road and is away from the hustle-bustle of Dal lake. Markets are within 15-20 minutes drive. Karim (who manages Kings houseboats) and his family stay nearby. He can get you anything you need quickly. So it isn't a problem if you forget or need anything.
We visited during April mid. You will need a few hours to quickly explore Sissu. If you wish to relax or do some activities, you can spend more time or you can choose to stay there.
Tariff starts at around Rs 30,000-35,000 per night, excluding taxes. Tariff includes breakfast. Other meals are charged additionally. Making reservation on website or by calling reservations is suggested to know the best available rates and offers.
Paigah Tombs are indeed a wonderful display of fine and delicate art-work on stone. A great place to visit. I have seen it 8 years ago and it is permanently etched in my mind. The ASI Board is there, but the the whole complex needs care and restoration. I pray the Telangana Govt should make every effort to restore the old Glory of this magnificent Tombs. 👍
So true. The beauty is simply unforgettable. The first time I visited, I was so much in awe that I went back and got camera just to click pictures of the intricate details. Thankfully, government has started some renovations recently. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
