Welcome to the Oaktree Motorhomes RU-vid channel displaying our 360 degree internal tours of the vehicles we have for sale. However, we may well leave the videos up even though the vehicle is sold as a historic reminder of the internal layouts of motorhomes. Videos are uploaded by our supplier on a weekly schedule.
Each video runs for a minimum of 30 seconds, but if you pause it after about 10 seconds you will be able to click and drag the image around without the player skipping onto the next vehicle at the end of the 30 seconds. It's quite interactive, so just click and drag or use the navigation wheel in the top-left corner of your screen.
If you like the look of a particular motorhome or campervan layout and it's currently not in stock then please give us a call on 0115 871 6951 and we'll advise you on similar models/layouts. We have new stock arriving almost daily.
It's also a good idea to subscribe as we add new vehicles every week.
Oaktree motorhomes ( on RU-vid ) always give me the impression that they are in first class condition. If/when im in the market for a new ( to me ) campervan il certainly be checking their stock
I know this was a year ago but £35k really, for what is a £10k 2015 2 berth caravan bolted to an £8k van chassis. Some people will pay this because they have the money or are prepared to put themselves in debt to the loan companies, Camper van sellers are pricing themselves out of the market, this is the now the reason why retailers are struggling and dealerships are closing because the prices have been so artificially inflated for such a long time. Lovely little van perfect for a retired couple but IMO realistically this is an £18 to £22k purchase the rest is pure retailer profit fed by a market that has been inflating prices for too long. I wanted one of these but was not going to pay the premium, so bought a small 4 year old 2 berth caravan for £13.5k massive saving. I bet when the seller traded this in they got a trade in value that was considerable less than the retail price because that's how it works.
Yes I totally agree, I often look at it the same, caravan price plus vehicle price and wonder how they’re worth so much. If you wasn’t bothered about looks and what people think,I saw a guy that had literally put a caravan in the back of a ford transit flatbed/dropside, I thought what a brilliant idea 😊
The plastic the windows are made out of is a special grade which is why they can sit in the sun for decades and remain supple, similar to car headlight plastic which are considered when t-cut is formulated. The other thing I would say is that Ammonia, even if it was an issue, is highly water soluble and evaporates into a gas so will not remain on the window. Some acrylics will fog and craze on contact with ammonia, I wouldn't recommend using anything with a high ammonia content.
Why has someone given up on this after such a small space of time from new ?. In may24 I was chatting with a fella who had just bought a swift and said it was poorly built and wouldn't keep it any longer than 18 months!!
If we put the price of this motorhome on the video it would be very misleading as we sold it 6 years ago. A price from 6 years ago would look like we're selling massively overpriced motorhomes. Lol, not so daft are we? All our motorhomes are clearly priced on the pitch and on our website
Hello Oaktree I will be in a position to make a purchase of this model by end of August. Please can you keep me informed if you have any more coming in . Thank you.. It must be the FF 600 not any others.
Hi, If the motorhome was still for sale it would be advertised on our website. We expect potential buyers to visit our website or call us if they need more information about the motorhome. There are some very important but less than obvious reasons why we don't mention the price in our videos. This particular motorhome is sold now but we always have similar models in stock. This motorhome sold for £36,995 if that helps
I think any T-cut will work. We suggested this as it is something people are likely to have around or be able to get hold of. A fine cutting polish is what you need. Doing it professionally we would probably wet sand the bad scratches, use a G3 heavy cutting paste then shine it up with a fine finishing polish.
Hi. I think you need to show prices on these videos. I will be looking for a motherhome towards the end of this year and it just off putting to have to make a phone only to find out its over price limits.
I agree it would make it easier for you but there are reasons why we don't include the price. The easiest thing to do is nip on our website and have a look. Once you're really into your research journey you'll soon get used to what make, year and mileage motorhomes are likely to be within your budget.
@@webpigjohn4959 Not Really, RU-vid makes up a tiny percentage of our traffic. Across 73,000 sessions in the last 30 days, only 45 came from RU-vid! That's about 0.06%. If we got 20x more traffic from RU-vid it would still only be just over 1% of our traffic. The videos really are just there to help people see motorhome layouts and the condition of our stock before travelling to view in person.
Unbelievably just found this RU-vid video, We bought this very van 🚐 from North Wales a few weeks ago and it now lives near Edinburgh, lovely van, the interior has now been re trimmed in cream leather, it is still an immaculate van.
Wow, as you can see this video was 5 years ago when we had it in stock here. Nice to have a record of what the van looked like years before you bought it. I bet it looks a lot better now it has a fresh interior, it was looking a bit dated.
@@davemurden3432 the last owner spent an absolute fortune on the interior, it looks amazing inside for its year, We are going to get the cupboards done in a white gloss wrap to modernise it a bit more, was just laughing at Your pride back then, as We bought it for £36k, motorhome prices haven’t changed much at all.
@@Brucecarmaintence71 Fresh white vinyl and maybe some nicer handles would make a big difference too. Covering the dark wood will improve the look no end. Yes, we sold it for £36,995 in 2018
I think this was a Volksavan conversion who are no longer trading. This conversion was a little different and agreed there aren't many around like this. It had some very expensive Diesel power equipment in it instead of LPG
The motorhome is beautiful. It has the perfect equipment and layout. I have two favorite motorhomes and this is one of them. Thank you for the tour. 🙂👍
Hi, We don't mention quite a lot of things which are standard on all production motorhomes like Auto-Sleepers. All Auto-Sleepers have heating and hot water. It's a bit like pointing out it has a windscreen, we wouldn't because it is standard across all models. We try to keep the videos short and focus on layout, condition and extras
@@user-tz7mz4gn7j Diesel heaters are slowly gaining popularity but the Truma and Alde heating Gas & Mains systems are still king in proper production motorhomes. A lot of DIY / Backstreet conversions fit the classic £90 diesel heater as it is by far the cheapest option. Until the Hob, Oven and Fridge can run on diesel, LPG will be the off-grid fuel of choice.
(🤫El-Rey-mea-aparte🙃) a mil km. Tututu tummm.
I've got a Renault trafic pop top also with diamond stitch leather seats. The seats are a bit overkill as no one sits or sleeps on leather. They're always covered over so cloth would have been more practical softer and warmer. As for the pop top I've owned the van three years not slept in it yet as its quite cold up there. Ok for creating standing room. If id knewvthen what I know now id have gone for a high roof and saved 3 or 4000.
That type of seat / bed is standard in this type of campervan. People who buy these vehicles tend to like the cross stitched leather with VW logos. Do you have a revolutionary idea on how to make the bed / seat look and work better in these campervans?
