I have watched many videos on doing a double border and hated tackling one because they were so difficult in many ways. I watched you and something clicked, now I look forward to putting the beautiful touch on my blankets. You speak very clearly, go slower than most and camera is close enough I can see exactly what you are doing! I’m so happy I found this video ❤️❤️

Hi? I know this video posted a few years ago, but, ypu wouldn't happen to have a deer stocking pattern would you? Do you have an etsy or ravelry store?
Hello! I have a new collection of 4 stockings set to release for Christmas in July this year, 2024. One of them is a reindeer pattern. I will be providing a full RU-vid tutorial for it so stay tuned...it will be available in July 😄 I do have Ravelry and Etsy shops...they can be found here: www.etsy.com/shop/BrooklynandCompany?ref=seller-platform-mcnav www.ravelry.com/designers/jamie-stgeorge
I just cannot find the V you speak of. Idk if I just crochet too tight or what. I gave up. Doing my best to follow using blo because I just cannot do the V thing.
I had this problem too. I had to force myself not to crochet tight. The V is hard on the toe part, it gets easier on the body. Second time through was much better for me. Almost done with my 2nd stocking.
Hello! The pattern notes are in the description...the medium pumpkin is 29 and the large pumpkin is 33. You'll also increase the number of rows you do...the medium is 40 rows and 4 "ribs" per section, and the large is 50 rows and 5 "ribs" per section.
Hi Geneva! You would end up with a smaller stocking with thinner yarn and a 4mm hook. I unfortunately don’t know what the exact measurements of the finished product with that hook would be, but it’s likely to be several inches shorter and somewhere around an inch narrower if I gave it a guess.
Hi Lori! The pattern for the Nordic Heirloom Stocking can be found for free here: brooklynhandcrafted.com/nordic-heirloom-stocking/ There are also several other stocking patterns on that site that you might enjoy 😀
Thanks for posting this video. I was reluctant to try the Cable pumpkin (never have done crochet cables before) after finishing the the Ribbed pumpkin but after watching this, I'm starting it right now. You are right--writing the instructions must be tough--watching is so much better-at least for me. I added a knitted leaf from a free patten I found on Ravelry which turned out cute. Thanks for a fun project.
