I think the concept of mr Crocket was brilliant! when I saw the trailer and the concept for it I was so excited...I 1000% agree that the characters are not fleshed out and its hard to have any relation or sympathy for anyone...which is such a shame because the visuals and Mr Crocktet (who is is beyond brilliant) could of made this something purely special...such a shame
You're so right!!! I feel like if they chose one major POV and stuck with it, it would have worked. Movies like IT worked because it chose the kid's POV and let us get attached to them for us to care about the danger they were in. In Mr. Crocket, we don't know who to root for. We're just waiting for Mr. Crocket to appear again. They could've had a multi-film deal on their hands, but it's missing that aspect like you said.

So, with the return postage, it is simply you pre-paying for the return postage stamp to have your documents sent back to you from the embassy. So you would choose one of the embassy recommended options, pay for it online, print out the receipt, and include it with the documents that you send in to the embassy. Does that help?
Poor Tiera having to deal with TeaRon being so anti-love is hysterical 😂😂. She Taught Love was a beautiful film. I kinda agree that u have to like these romance stories to really enjoy this. I didn't mind the movie being slow is a very Sunday afternoon kind of vibe. Not every movie needs to be fast and furious.
I like the show, but there is something strange.. that is not their home or someone else pick that furniture out for them..... because that furniture is so tacky.
I think we ended up addressing their furniture when we reviewed another episode. Lol I'm glad you also have good taste and sense enough to see how much of a mess it is 😅😅

We agree!! 6 episodes simply isn't enough. I would've liked to see 10 at least. Let's hope the success of this season gives them more episodes for season 2. Also, we knew that Bradock or Jerusa had to go, but never did we think they'd choose Bradock 😭

I'm with you on all of these accounts! I do think Delano will quit the force with encouragement from Leka. He has no reason to stay now since he's already they attacked him during the funeral procession. I think that Lil Foot will be understanding of Curio's family taking out Bradock, so he will be fine to join them, but I don't think he will forgive Jerusa... and you didn't hear this from me, but I hear that Jerusa might be 🤰!!!

Stop the cap. The preacher couldn't even do the other boss funeral at the beginning of the episode. He died because they were friends for 20 years and what happened then is why it happened
Also I feel for Delano. Stuck between having sympathy for the people he lives with and trying to keep his well paying government job where he can make a difference. While most of those white cops could detach themselves from the situation and look upon the people they’re brutalizing with indifference, Delano has his community to remain loyal to and it ended costing him being suspended from his job and a high velocity bean bag to the body
Yes!!! You're so right on with this! They gave us so much with Delano this episode that we didn't expect. I'll be interested to see how they continue to develop his storyline as well. I don't think he'll stay on the police force for much longer. I just hope he doesn't fall into the opposing side of things as a result.
I low key blame rocket for barbatinho’s death. He didn’t have to run across a street and through the exchange of gunfire. If rocket hadn’t encouraged him to run thru it and he had stayed put he wouldn’t have died
I happy I found your channel of recaping the show City Of God The Fight Rages On. Another good show then movie to complete it is CIty Of Men same place City Of God was taken sooo good. Im so into it. I'm sad its a short series
SO FREAKING HAPPY this is a series!!! the movie was freaking awesome, and i just came upon the series by accident and instantly watched all the available episodes!
Poor Berenice. She warned that man from the beginning not to get involved and now her man is gonna stay in prison for a while. She just has the worst luck. Also it’s pretty cool that jiu jitsu guy works for the police so we can get their perspective
They have perfectly placed these characters in positions to somehow make us care about everyone's perspectives!!! And yes poor Berenice!!! She can't catch a break. She keeps falling in love with men who are about that street life and she can't get away from it.
This episode was good. When I started watching the series, I thought it wouldn't be nearly as good as the films, but it is starting to grow to that level. I don’t know if you noticed, but in Berenice's final scene with PQD, the song that played is a different version of the same song that played during her final scene with Cabeleira/Shaggy in the original movie. The lyrics are about trying to find a reason to be happy and not cry. The name of the song is Preciso me Encontrar by Cartola.
WHAAAT?! 🤯🤯🤯 No, we didn't notice. We liked the way they closed out with the music but didn't even catch that nugget. And yes, there was this uncertainty about if it would somehow ruin the legacy of such a major film, but they have been doing all the right things. Making it relevant with the shows of today while respecting the original completely. We can't enough!

I’m really bad with the characters names, but I feel like knockout Ned son is going to suffer some grave consequences while the police force which will further drive between rocket and his daughter. I also believe that Berniece wouldn’t have called the cops on her husband had he not lost the leg
You are referring to Delano. You might be right about him having issues with the force. Maybe they will make him have to make a difficult decision that will drive that wedge between he and Leka 🤔. As for Berenice, you're right. She saw an opportunity to have her already damaged and injured husband put in a place where he would be "safe" and she took it. We felt so bad for her, but we got the decision.
He deserved a better script. And the movie was boring. That’s all. He should be John Stewart Green Lantern for DCU upcoming HBO show. They’re casting now.
Wrong. The movie was excellent. Had absolutely nothing to do with the actor's look. Its how well the cast acted and the action sequence. Maybe you got bored because you did not understand the storyline. Was one of the better movies on streaming this year
Meanwhile, all the promotion on social media from NF themselves have all revolved around his looks. 😂😂 The film was mid, and that's okay if you loved it. Definitely not even in the top 20 of streaming this year though.
A solid show. City of god is such a fun window into Brazil and how it compares to the US in terms of culture, people, buildings, and overall violence levels. Overall more similarities with the US in terms of wealth distribution, racism, and a very lethal state apparatus/law enforcement
This man is a vampire by the everything. If he told me to jump into a volcano, I’d ask how fast he’d want me to run. I’d figure out how to run on my eyelashes if he wanted me to. The movie was awesome but he’s the best part 🥰🥰🥰🥰
😂 no it was a good movie and he is fine.. it’s okay to celebrate good movies with black fine actors in it. The ‘too cool for school’ act is so elementary. Don’t worry, he won’t snatch your girlfriend with those eyes 👀 😂 just playing, you’re entitled to your opinion.. for me it was 💯 even if you played his part 😅
Possibly. It's like he forgot all about his cousin after he died, tho. I feel like if he went after them for that reason at first, it would've hit so much harder.
