@@user-er5vy9tj2k I was supposed to get another treatment this month but it’ll be a while now before I can get another so I’ll have a wee update, it’s a long process, it needs 5+ treatments I’d say to see a good progress but skin texture etc definitely improves from treatment 1.
Thats an cute looking necklace you're wearing and i did used to have my tongue piercing done back in February 10th got my done for 36th birthday gift to myself it wasn't to bad getting it done the worst thing was drinking and eating different stuff
Going to see a Nurse Practitioner privately to see if I might have this, and if I do, will ask to be sent to the Lymphoedema clinic. She knows about the condition at least and has 35yrs experience
I think my mom has it. She lost over 130lbs but I noticed her thighs and legs are still quite large for someone who is 160lbs. She has always complained of sore and swollen legs. She thought it was due to her obesity. Now that I know I have it, I'm almost certain my mom has it and I've always had it, even when I was 128lbs. I could never tone my thighs and my legs were always big for someone my size. Now that I'm older, perimenopausal and started having noticeable symptoms during my last pregnancy, im ready to take control of this before it gets worse. Thanks for sharing your story❤
@@BixbyLBC yeah that sounds like she has it for sure, so many people just get dismissed if they are overweight at all, not realising that the weight is usually caused by having the lipoedema, it’s like a snowball effect if you don’t get a handle on it. I’m so glad more people are hearing about it!
Hi Aylie, I had mine done in April 2021 & had much the same experience as yourself, only I had the local anesthesia (injections around the eyes). Had mine done at Signature Glasgow. Well chuffed to go from half shut curtains to actual eyes haha. Will be exited to see both you & your mums final results xx
thank you for the information and yeah i agree - my legs could get more compression but my waist cannot handle the awful squeezing ! also, 👍🏼 extra for being so brave. i actually went with sport / fashion leggings, called compression z, for more comfort but still compression. also, POCKETS. like, we need pockets, just throw a couple on !
You look so beautiful, even your scars look beautiful like some fancy eyeliner technique. Very helpful video. I had my upper (and lower) blepharoplasty done 12 days ago in India. Had a lot of bruising and swelling because I easily bruise and swell but also because I am currently on blood thinners for a thrombosis incident. So I look quite awful, worse than the bruising is that the upper eyelids are hanging down in the other corners, very swollen, so my eyeshape is worse than before. Had to fly back to Europe in this state, and while I´m quite ok with the fact that healing is individual and might take a lot of time, I also can´t help worrying something has gone wrong. I thought this was a quite simple procedure, I was not really prepared for months of healing, for wanting to hide my eyes for more than a week.
@@mj-ev8hu I feel your pain, I did swell and bruise way more than expected so it was a tough couple of weeks, I was a good few weeks before the bruising actually went away. I’m actually day 3 PO on my revision today and healing way better this time. I’d say your blood thinners may be making it look so much worse than it is. Stick with it, swelling always makes it look worse.
How would you widen thick eyebrows.? I had my eyebrows permanently removed by Electrolysis (all of my loose eyebrows below my eyebrows) As it was trending in the 80’s and 90’s. But now that the trend is more fuller, I don’t know to widen them and look natural.
Do you mean widen thin eyebrows? Just build up the shape by adding hair strokes, if you go too far you can wipe away any bits that you don’t need with a wipe
Thank you for posting this. I've noticed over the past couple years that my one leg is bigger than the other. No one really notices unless I point it out. I also have a lump near my knee in that leg Ive had for years.. Had x-rays and ultrasound and they found nothing. After watching this video and other vids on this topic, I'm realizing that it most likely is lipedema! I have all the symptoms to a "T" ! Now I can finally get a plan together, do some research and try to tackle this issue. Thank you so much for your video. It def has helped! Best of luck in your journey!
If one leg is bigger than the other, look into lymphedema. It’s different but sometimes coinciding condition. I just know that’s one of the hallmark symptoms/ways to identify lymphedema!
I notice that you use the side of that brow pen brush. I use only the tip pointing straight out perpendicular to my face and I get a much thinner line. You seem to tilt the pen a wee bit to one side and therefore getting a thicker line than what I get using the same exact pen. I'm going to return that Maybelline Build-A-Brow product because the gel is of no use to me. I did not like it. I do like the NYX pen better but only because they have black. I use the Espresso color pen from Milani Weekend Brow. Then I go over that with some strokes of the NYX Black. I like the more realistic 2D - 3D effect with the two colors. My natural brows are black but using only a BLACK pen would be too black for my face and brows.
@@AylieRose how much pain do they usually reduce for you and do you repeat them? and have you looked at endoscopic rhizotomy? aparently that procedure is pernament or last alot longer
@@jackattack9799 not something I’ve been offered via the NHS, it took over 5 years to start getting these. So far I’ve had about 18 months reduced pain this time around.
Just want to say that it does not always start in your legs and possibly move to your arms as you get older. For me, it started in my arms in my 30's then moved to my legs, then butt & lower abdomen.
I've been watching you make-up videos and just listening to your voice is so soothing. Im not sure if you have burned the chocolate chip cannoli candle, please don't waste your money. It smells like a cheap vanilla candle. I gave reward points with yankee candle co. If you see something I am going to order for the semi annual sale end of May. 75% off. I may can find a way to ship cheaper and place order together.🕯
Hi👋🏼 my complexion is very similar to yours. It looks as though N6 would be good for me but rather have radiance because my skin is more mature. Any idea of shade? Heard you say radiance doesn't have N6, which is weird. Why not use same number is both formulas?
My thoughts exactly! So confusing! I need to find the equivalent of N6 for studio radiance too. It comes up N32 with their shade match tool so that may be my next attempt
Anna, she clearly said Black Brown. 👍🏼 I have the exact same pen. I liked the pen but I don't like the gel brush. It's of no use to me after trying it out. So I'm returning it. I already have Milani Weekend Brow in Espresso so I use that then I go over the Espresso with a few strokes of the Black from NYX. They're all the same pen tip but different colors. I looked at each of the tips with a magnifying glass and they're exactly the same tips. It's just that not all have the same colors so I have to use different brands for the different colors. I like using two different colors for a more natural look.
@@AylieRose sorry I really did not hear it was not clear I rewatch several time. I have bad hearing and also severe tinnitus so I could not hear it was very un clear about the colour it’s so common people dot. Dorks clearly whe. They say brand or colour and I have such hard time
Thank you so much. You are very helpful. What kind of help can a lymphedema clinic give? Do they prescribe the compression or what sorts of thing could I expect if I ask my GP for a referral? Thanks!
Hi, they give advice and prescribe compression, the hope is that the more are diagnosed the more they have to pay attention and start offering us actual help. Right now you are lucky if the dr even knows what lipoedema is sadly.
@@kaylakurowicki6201 I’d ask a qualified hairdresser to be honest, I know some dark hair dyes can react with things like bleach and heat up drastically causing hair to actually smoke, so I’d always say be really careful with hair dyed with box dye.
Practice makes perfect, or as close as you can get with eyebrows anyway! 😂 I was terrible at eyebrows for the longest time and I still struggle, just found that the more I do them the easier they are to do.
@@AylieRose I tried and it is looking ok I guess... At least my husband did not burst out laughing (as it happened a couple of times before!) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the tips! ❤️
Was wondering what size ring you normally are and what size Trinity ring did you end up with. Cartier recommend 1 size smaller but other forums say go up a size
I’d definitely say size down, I have a size 55 but I could have gotten away with a size smaller, it rolls of my finger really easily. my usual size would be 55 for any other ring.
I've been using japanese/korean eyeliners for years on my brows (they all have that thin pen brush like tip way before western cosmetic brands) I use a light brown eyeshadow/brow powder as a base then draw individual hairs with the eyeliner and at the end I use a tinted eyebrow gel... This 3 step technic is just incredible.
@@AylieRose for the eyeliner I've been constantly repurchasing eyeliners from a brand called UZU(japanese brand) because they have amazing variations of browns, ash, red, pink...I do buy a separate one to use on the eyes, they are that good! for the gel I use l'oreal infaillible tinted brow gel, it works great! for brow powders, I pretty much use only eyeshadows now so any good pigmented/easy to blend shadow will do ☺
Great tutorial, thanks for this! Absolutely agree, that getting a product that does what it says, minus the hype, is very rare, but also SO damn good! Will be looking for more videos-any chance you can do something on best Tinted moisturizers-with Spring around the corner, hopefully! love sue xx
Oh great minds! I have been on the hunt for a good tinted moisturiser! I will be keeping an eye for some new ones coming out so we can hopefully find a really good one!
