Your phone needs esim and it has to be an unlocked phone as well. It can't be already on a T-Mobile network account either like a mint or Metro. You need either a Google fi phone. Roughly a Samsung S20 and up or an iPhone 11 and up. Unlocked tho and not on prepaid or contract.
So the expansion pack games are downloaded to the system, but they have some software lock that stops you from playing after 7 days of not checking in online …

Yeah it’s great. When you work and live in an area that can’t get WiFi it does work. There is a time where it will say it needs to check the internet if the games can be played. You’ll have to go online with wifi to get that dialogue off so you can resume to play without wifi. Yes you need a membership.
