Cool setup. Thanks for the inspiration! I am currently setting up my board with the Kemper Player too. Just to be clear, are you controlling the rigs 1-5 and up with the Midi Mongoose and turning at chorus and delay on / off with the 2 /3 buttons of the Kemper? I assume the big reverb sound was incorporated in a rig and not turned on / off respectively on its own button? If my question makes any sense:) Il like having the reverb behind a button and just tried this with an amp 2-switch unit. This, however, uses the input for an expression pedal, which I would gladly have for a Leslie or phaser. Do I miss an effects loop in the Kemper? Kinda.
I’m just an old picker, confused. Can someone explain this, does the Player require “rig” downloads from the Kemper lunchbox profiler, or are they available in an app? Also, running this on my pedalboard turns my signal chain digital ? Negates the need to put some pedals into the effects loop? Asking nice here for you young techies to clarify. Thanks!
sorry if my question is a bit silly. How do you connect the rest of the pedal board and the guitar? I see the guitar input. and the L R input which seems to go to the monitor. Kemper guitar input - > RC booster -> all chain -> cry baby - > electric guitar? and you use the xlr to go direct to the mixing table? thanks your video is awesome. I just ordered it, but I'm plexi user, and I didn't enter yet into the 21st century.
how are you keeping track of where you are at bank wise? what the effects are, or are they always variations of chorus and delay and you maintain the same reverb per patch?
One thing I notice on any profile rig, modeling rig is they have no problem getting OD or distorted sounds but the clean sounds are less than stellar and give them away! That's why I stick to the amp! Beats them all on all sides! They have gotten better but still not there!

Tone is great. I'm a long time Kemper user and still love it. But now I've been waiting for the AmpX. I am totally sold on that. Analog is still king...but, yes, right after that, Kemper is Prince ;-).
Great playing and demo. A few questions about the Player: Does the Player itself have tap tempo or is that why you have the Ernie Ball running to the expression? For the 4 FX blocks in the Player (2 pre and 2 post) are they all able to be edited to any desired effect? More specifically, do the 2 post FX have to be Delay and Reverb or can they be set to any desired effect? Does the Player do Kemper's liquid profiling?
Great Set Up and tones ....can you control GAIN/Delay MIX/Reverb via Expression Pedal ?....just want to see how Flexible functions are on that Player unit
thanks! stereo out from the player to the cabs, xlr out to foh or daw. all pedals in front of the amp, tabtempo is connected with te expression input. guitar-wahwah-tuner-rc booster-tubescreamer-chorus- kemper-cabs
