I am an NRI living in Silicon valley for 11 years and totally disagree, I have a large group of friends who are tech pros, even high paying people cannot easily buy 3-4 cr property without seeing it and just on pre-launch, also property investment in india is really bad since rental yield in residential property in US is about 8% and only 1-2% in India. Also repatriating funds back to the US incurs a significant tds and taxation. All this talk about emotional investment is totally unfounded, there is no real data and none of my friends who make more than 300k USD per year are investing in 3-4 cr properties. All you are saying is hype created by builders and people who want to sell
Also people whose kids grow up (like mine) in US never want to return back and live in India so I have little incentive to buy here knowing that it is of no use to anyone after I pass

Sir please again work of Ansal highland park sector 103 as builder is starting giving possession without applying for OC which is totally illegal and cheating with its buyers. How can we request and force this builder to apply OC?
Any ROF Alante 108 owners/buyers here? pls comment and share your number. We have a problem. I have a unit in ROF Alante 108 affordable project - the builder just got the OC issued on 20 Sep and is asking for the final payment of External Electrification Charge INR 1,06,200; Electric Meter Charge: INR 11,800; BOCW INR 15,234.98 and Admin Charges INR 17,700. In total these are INR 1,50,935. It is ridiculous and seem illegal to ask for external electrification charge of INR 1,00,000+ in a affordable project. Also, the builder has only given 15 days to make this payment instead of the usual 3 months/90 days. Not sure of what the urgency is here. Please let me know if these charges are legitimate or what should i do? Thanks, Mohit
