We have been camping for years in the South Carolina State Park system with a large 5th wheel trailer. The park system web site (and the Corp of Engineers web site) does a good job of listing the maximum size of RV that will fit in their campsites, but not so good at descriptions. We also have found that they do a poor job of limiting the RV size due to access. Some campground roads are too tight for large RV's, yet the sites still accommodate them. And some sites have trees or other objects that limit access into nice long sites. We started this channel after several trips to sites that were listed for 45' or longer RV's that we had a hard time getting into or level with a 38' trailer. Although the descriptions are from the perspective of a large trailer owner, the videos should be helpful for any size or type of RV.
This is so great! Your videos are the absolute best when it comes to being able to actually see these sites before reserving. Thank you for these videos
Always enjoy your campground tours, thank you! And thank you for seeing how difficult it is to watch this new wide angle lens and stopping your use of it in future videos.
Thanks for your videos. Booked 2 sites back in April based on your Columbia Sesquicentennial video. My family and I stay a Cheraw all the time. We have been going there for 15yrs. They have made a lot of improvements over the years.
Thank you so much for these videos that you post. My wife and I are new RV campers and are visiting most of the South Carolina state parks. Your videos are so helpful to know what to expect before we show up.
No. My wife is a glamper. She isn’t staying without power. We have enough battery for my necessities, but not her A/C. And I hate camping with the generator! I keep trying to talk her into trying a weekend with no power, but no luck yet.
Thank you for doing these videos. Whenever I go camping the first thing I do is see if you have done a video on it. Showing the sites is very helpful. Thanks again.
Thank you for doing these videos. When looking for a campground and a good site the first thing I do is check your videos. They are very helpful. Thanks again.
After I go to Dreher Island I’m thinking Hamilton Branch is up next. What kinda prices are we looking at? Don’t really need power or sewer or any of the fancy stuff.
Well done bro. Looks like I can park my bike and little camper and just start fishing. I live in lake Murray country so this is a park I can get to easy. My thing is motorcycle camping with my little mini mate camper. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this video with us. Tom
