I am at a time in my life that I just feel like my whole world got flipped upside down. In the beginning (and still well in the beginning) I had the slightest clue of how and where to start. I didn't know how to b alone and it was just a lot to deal with. I never heard a Les Brown speech before all this happened...and if I can tell just 1 person that he has such a big impact on how I think, my perspective has changed. But most importantly he was just a positive voice that reaches home. Thanks Les B ~ MOTIVATIONAL~
Les brown and Jim Rohn got me through it. God truly blessed to have ppl that such a relation but yet not be related. I love it. I appreciate it so much,
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. ❤ 🙏🏼
The honeymoon phase: I remember me and one of my girlfriends were boo'd up all thee time. Lovey dovey and googly eyes all the time. Every relationship is different. It's possible to have a very close relationship regardless of time together.
Yeah but "unknown horrors" vs gun shots. No brainer, gun shots. Unknown horrors could be fire, or bio-chemical pools. I don't blame the guy in the story. He chose a fathomable death.
Les brown is incredible. I listen to his talks at least once a week. It's helping/pushing/motivating/inspiring me to keep going with my channel despite the challenges. Thankyou Les.

Perfectly said! I took a path in my time. I selected a place to stay that provide me with the 5 basic needs for survival. I Remember learning this hierarchy during my school years as a teenager. What was not taught me could only be understood by myself. By taking a risk. The model is just a model. So I used 90 days to retrain and grow neurological pathways in my brain. The hierarchy. Basic Food. Basic Accommodation. Financial Security (I paid for this program & the financial security is actually YOURSELF 'you are the money' - Les Brown.. Emotional/social & physical... So I would else up each morning at 5 am. Make my bed. Utilise the bathroom for 2 mins. Change. Watch a 15 min video of what we called 'morning motivation'. Then we would go for a hike on table mountain, sometimes run a few kms on the beach or run around the neighbourhood. Next, We would return to have a simple breakfast of Maize meal ir oats and tea/coffee. We would work as a team creating the meal to waxing packing the dishes away. Then we would have a meeting among2us (8 people) speaking how we feel goals etc.. Then we would proceed to what was referred to as 'Job functions' which included cleaning the house we stayed in (bedrooms, floors, bathrooms, garage, gardening, garbage). The next part would be 30 minutes meditation or Qigong (this would alternate) the next action task be MENTAL training. We would listen to human connexions podcasts for 3p minutes, take notes & discuss after. The next would be a 15 minute break for tea. Followed by Gym for am hour twice a week which included intense cardio training, boxing, Brazilian kick boxing. Later back to the place I called home. We ate lunch (did dishes eat etc) and time allocated for a 5 minute shower between everyone. Which was uncomfortable because showers were allowed 3 times a week. From 2 pm. We would do Brain Gym, Attend a class called neurological Linguistic Therapy (whereby we did stuff like if you remember being a kid and doing 'heads, shoulders knees & toes) hahaha challenging because as the rhythm goes faster amazing how the mind forgets where to place the physical part or point it to.. The alternate program would be Tony Robbins The Hour of Power followed by spiritual medication for 2 hours (reading, medicating etc). The next task was finishing off dinner dishes and spiritually for 38 minutes we would meditate as a group. amazing.. This was followed by 15 minutes of diary time which left 15 minutes extra to cool off.. Lights out at 22:00 pm.. Weekends we were allowed movie nights, playing chess or game boards and going out for a game of cricket, soccer or to the beach. We would go away to the scenic parts of Cape Town and relax have a BBQ and socialise.. Sunday at 17:30 pm program would resume once again until Thursday evening... So its amazing because it sounds easy and relaxing. The challenge is that there are different people of variously personality traits. Some hate doing dishes and would only dry for 40 days. Some would only sweep the house. Some couldn't speak out their feelings. Sometimes things got heated and adapting new skills, using new tools to control conflicts, uncomfortable places, etc was the challenge.. No technology was allowed. A phone call once a week to your family. An once every weekend we were allowed to eat 'Take Out) and amazingly how much you appreciate something like a steak burger.. So uncomfortable moments, and the mind has to learn to accept and love it because something that you love to do do much can be your comfort zone. And how does one progress then? The only way is to take on something different, my opinion something you dislike and suddenly, almost by accident you enjoy and grow from it. Spiritually & mentally.... So yea 90 days!
Mr. Brown..I've been listening to you for a few yrs-I WANT that sweet potato pie after eating I have to take my shoes off 😂' I'm using some of your points in my new book, cited of course. THANKS & KEEP IT UP!! 🙏
I love listening to Mr. Brown speeches. It’s taught me so much about what I’ve been doing wrong or haven’t been doing in my life. Time to make a change. Thank you Mr. Les Brown!
